In this video we will learn how to make the front and backs of this baby sweater. This is the same stitch as in the Baby Blanket Unique stitch video. This sweater makes a great set with that blanket. You can choose your own color combinations. Easy and quick to work up. This is sure to become one of your favorite baby sweaters. This is not my pattern or design. This tutorial was filmed in Spanish by Esperanza Rosas of www.tejiendoenperu.com She has a great youtube channel as well. I made a hat, blanket, and this sweater, all using this stitch for a gift for a friend. I make all my hats with this style of stitch. It is so easy and quick and my favorite. thanks for sharing it with us. Happy Stitching!!!

I was trying to decide what I was going to make for my friend's new grandbaby and you gave me a lot of ideas that will be beautiful, yet, easy to make. Yolanda , how precious, this was my first sweater that i've learned with Esperanza(esperosa) for my grandd. a year ago, and I made the shoes and hat also , just beautiful and precious because was my first crochet work ( never learn before...) and I made of course in pink. LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern. All of my sisters want it and my a bunch of my friends would like to make THEM a sweater! Can you make an adult size? What size hook would THAT take?!!! I had just finished making this! It's so cute! My sister is having a little boy in January. Only problem is I feel as if it's a bit too big for a newborn. I even did it with a smaller hook but used the same yarn. Oh well, not a bring home from hospital outfit but I'm sure he'll fit plump up and fit into it. :). Thank you!!!

Started this on Tuesday. Very quick and easy. I was planning on making this for a 2T. However, I was experimenting with a H hook and 8 ply yarn and it's coming out much larger. I'll send dimensions when I'm done. Looking at this pattern, however, I think we could use any stitch and get different textures. Wish there was a written pattern. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

For newborn you say crochet hook D-2.25 but 2.25 is a B hook- clarify please, I made sweater using your suggested hook- it is beautiful, also made blanket & cap, love this pattern
