In this video I'm gonna show you how to crochet a Chunky Bucket Hat. It is a very Simple & easy to follow . I'm using Single Crochet (SC) Stitch for this Bucket Hat.
Materials: →Chunky yarn ( Ice yarns)
→Yardage: 120 meters
→Composition: 100% Microfiber
→Hook: 6mm
→Scissors &
→Needle yarn

incase anyone wanted to written pattern here it is! Ch4, sl st in beg to make a ring. 6 sc in ring. Sl st to first sc to make a circle and pull the hole tight, ch 1, you will always start rows with ch 1. ROUND 1: 2 sc in each st across. ROUND 2: *1 sc, 1 inc* (repeat * pattern), st into first st (ALWAYS SL ST INTO FIRST). ROUND 3: *Sc 2, inc*. ROUND 4: *Sc 3, inc*. ROUND 5: *Sc 4, inc*. ROUND 6: *Sc 5, inc*. ROUND 7: *Sc 6, inc*. ROUND 8-15: 1 sc in each st. ROUND 16: *Flo sc 4, inc flo*. ROUND 17: *Sc 10, inc*. ROUND 18: *Sc 3, inc*. ROUND 19-20: Sc in all st around*. ROUND 21: *Sc 9, inc*. ROUND 22: SC IN ALL ST* sl st and fasten off.

Round 1 is actually the 6 sc into the MR your numbers are off by 1

I made my hat using size 5 chenille yarn and it ended up becoming a beanie rather than a bucket hat due to how tight it fit my head... I followed the instructions with 6sc and not 8 in the foundation as mentioned in the video but it still turned out too small.. My advice would be to go bigger in the foundation if you want to use this pattern

The tip of my hat is pointed. Even if I loosen my tension. I change it back to 8sc as foundation. It flattened a little bit but the final output is bigger than I expected. 😅 I need to redo it again hahaha. Anyway great tutorial!

Your Video is quite alright to follow and not too long. It's a nice Pattern for beginners, I love it. But how do I make my brim less wavy? Your hat is perfectly waved (and so cute!) but my wave looks very extreme. I added one row while increasing to make it wider. Hat fits but i really dislike my wavy brim

If you want a completing flat brim, dont do increase stitches. If you want it less wavy but not completely flat, use less increase stitches. Hope this helped!

4:13 mine is not a straight circle its i think if i continue its gona turnn into a ball not a sircle

At row 16 I understand there's 48 stitches, but for row 17 and I repeat the pattern 4sc + inc, there is still 3 stitches left till the stitchmarker. Am I supposed to start the new row once the pattern is finished or continue with single crochets till the stitchmarker?

@@skleon6344did you make it?? I lost there too 😔 the stitches are 48 but if u want to 4sc + inc, that's true there's 3 stitches left to the marker. Bcs 5x9 is 45 and 3 left :) please guide me

It depends on your hooks and how tight your stitches end up. Some people crochet more loosely and others more tightly. If your on the loose stitch end, I would go down to a 5.5. If you crochet tight stitches then a 7 should work. 5.5 usually comes in a standard set though

the hat is lovely but this tutorial is really difficult to follow along with. im a more experienced crocheter and even i was getting confused with the stitch counts as there aren't any that you mentioned as far as i know. and weather or not you wanted us to put the stitches into the slst part to start the row as you kept ending your rows next to the stitch marker. im just so confused

It's the same pattern as any other crocheted hat. You start out with a ring and 8 single crochets and sl st to join. Chain one and then two single crochets in each of the previous 8. Sl st to your first single crochet. Chain 1, single crochet in your first stitch and two in the next. One single crochet, two single crochets. None of the chain ones count as stitches.

I’m so mad. I follow every step in this tutorial and mine starts to look like a GLOVE not a circle. I’ve tried 4 times with other tutorials with different methods but still looks the same!!!😑

Follow each and every starting round from the tutorial, but in ending row if there is only 2 or 3 stitches just crochet it, ending row stitches are not same
