This whole explanation of turning has opened my eyes, now I'm on the road to recovery after ripping apart 12 rows many many times, I wish I would've saw yours, well I subscribed 😂😂
Finally a crotchet youtube channel I can follow easily! I am so excited to get better at crotchetting so I can purchase patterns off your etsy as well. I just need to get the right yarn to finish this one.
This was a great video! Easy to follow and the pattern is shown as you go so you don’t have to rewind as often. Great pattern! I started and finished my hat in a day. 10/10 ✨
So happy to have found this pattern! I haven't knitted or crocheted anything in MANY years, so I'm nervous about learning again. I would like to make this as a striped bucket hat to give it a retro look. Would that be difficult? Thanks!
Omg thanks you this helped me too much it came out soo good and my friend also did it,I love your teaching it is so easier than the other videos, also I appreciate your work cause it is really makes you tired so I appreciate it Hope you make more videos 🥰💗💗
Hi I was going to try to make this strictly by the written pattern for the 1st time. However, the written pattern didn't say anywhere on it to turn between rows. Is that something I should always assume? But any advice on how to know if u should turn or not? So what I did was instead of doing Front loop double crochet I did back loop double crochet, and didn't ever turn my work. By doing that I found that you alway get the pretty side of the double Crochet. It worked out perfectly 🥰 luckily 😉. Thanks for this pattern it's a keeper! Happy Crocheting 😊
For this pattern the turn isn’t 100% necessary. It’s up to you if you want to turn or not. Not all patterns are the same so if a pattern requires a turn, then I’ll write it in but if it’s not required then I leave it out.
@@AnnsCloset Thanks so much! You are right! I found that if I do BLDC instead of FLDC that it worker out perfectly 🥰. Also, depends on your preference for the stitches, not turning it showed what I call the "pretty" side of the double Crochet. But that is just preference for me individually. Thanks for the great pattern it is truly a keeper! 🥰
Hello I made this hat! Thank you for this easy pattern. It was very loose so what I did was at the beginning I stopped till the fourth row and followed all the remaining steps. It came pretty good? Just wanna know if there is any other way.
Hi, followed the pattern and am currently at round 11 but I think I made the stitches too loose & maybe used a smaller sized yarn, it is a very loose circle right now; any suggestions on how to give it form/ shape without having to restart the project over again? I always lacked on the perfect tightness/ looseness balance on crochet stitches
Helloo I tried doing it with you while following the video from A to Z and I finished it but unfortunately it is to small for my head. Is there a way for me to increase the size ? If yes, how ? Thank you already.
Hi! you can add an extra row to the top piece, the pattern would be 5 dc’s in between each increase. Then the brim of the hat would start with 10dcs in between each increase.
@@AnnsCloset Hi ,this pattern is amazing! If I want to increase it even more at the top (2 or 3 rounds) ,how can i do it? I’m beginner btw so please write it to me with the instructions you wrote in the the video, because it’s a lot easier for me that way. Thank u very much and I’m sorry if my English is not perfect 🙏🏻
Hi Ma'am I made this chunky bucket hat.. but there's something wrong what I did. Coz at the end part of pattern it was curve , not same as yours.. what should I do mam? 😊
Thank you for this tutorial but you're eleventh row you state that you should only crochet in the front part of the chain. This is the same side you previously said on the 6th row, one if these is not correct. I think that is a mistake that you Overlooked.
