Thank you so much, these are the exact ones I bought, and all the other videos are with the wrapping technique.I’m so glad I can just crochet the plait through instead phheww.
I watch these videos knowing I ain't never going to do this on my head. Inaint got the patience 🙅🏾♀️ Anyhow you're absolutely gorgeous! Definitely very skillful!
Lol. Your hubby is adorable for saying that. These faux locs are gorgeous. I loved both outfits. You have a beautiful sleek and chic style. Hairstyle 1 and 3 are my favorites. Hairstyle 2 is cute if you don't like hair on your back.
Love love love love love love... love this. I love locs. I had box braids before people knew what they were here in New Zealand. We have this lovely woman from South Africa who opened a shop early 2000. Man I loved them. These days im now 50 and wish I still had them
Just started my loc journey and I can’t wait to do this as a protective style! Thanks for this method I was thinking I was going have to learn the wrapping method lol!
The unraveling just depends on what type of faux locs you purchase. Definitely try it to see if you’re able to do it before having to spend extra time for no reason. But her locs are kind of Marley like, which I love, and yeah they don’t usually unravel in a perfect coil. Great for if you needed to comb out and retwist yourself though!! Great video!🖤👌🏾
So I am someone who's in the process of starting my locs and FYI doing hair is not a skill of mine lol but I have been trying to find ways to easily add the faux locs to my hair without the heavy pulling(I have very weak hair). This video so far seems reliable. Easy to install and it seems easier to remove so I can treat and retwist my hair. This was very helpful thank you for sharing.
I love this faux loc look. I did them on myself a couple years back when I went to Australia. I did a full head of individuals and that about took me out! 😭 Maybe I will attempt them again this time using your technique. They look GREAT on you. Your makeup is flawless by the way. 💕
Thanks so much Michelle! And aww man! I definitely understand the struggle! I’ve attempted them before , and I said “NEVER AGAIN! “🤪 They take sooo long to do 😅
Lol that makes two of us. I have no shame in admitting I did individuals too but after putting in 10 of them I was snot crying, so hubby did my whole head from watching a video. I got lots of compliments from my coworkers.
Style 2 was my go-to when I had locs! I just combed mine out after having them for 8 years and while I love my hair now, this video sorta makes me want to go back !! Lol. At least I now know I have the option to (temporarily) do so. Thanks for such an in depth and helpful tutorial 💛
Mary these locs turned out beautiful on you.I'm about to get my hair crochet soon so i may consider this style i never tried this look before . For your edges try the Shine 'n Jam Silk Edges with Olive Oil. It works great without flaking up Can you do a tutorial on mid-length twist using the Outre X-Pression Twisted Up Springy Afro Twist hair?
Thanks so much! To be honest I used to feel the same way! I used to struggle so much with the individual crochet faux locs using the method I showed in this video! It’s taken me a long while to get it right! You don’t understand how proud of myself I was because this is the first time I did them and I didn’t struggle 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾You’ll get it! Just keep working at it🤗
Love love it! It’s so cute! And a great look for the holidays! Oh and your Instagram post is too cute! Your sooooo great at what you do! Your the best!🥰 have a blessed weekend lil sis!
