I think this stitch would look good in that yarn you use for dish cloths, the scrubby one. Or even just in cotton for wash cloths. Thanks Tuula for this, enjoy your holiday.

Could you chain 2 instead of chain 3 to make the arches smaller instead of the big hole it produces

I never chain 3 when doing the moss stitch,I've only chained 1 N turned
