I have the cheaper one. You have to add tention by hand to get it to wind right. Also I have had mine apart several times.

tip: If you wind all your yarns into cakes from hanks right away, I would make sure to wind them loose. By winding them tight or with tension, the yarn can become stretch out. Personally, I wind them into cakes when I'm going to be using them in a project. BTW- I always look forward to Sundays when your video comes out. Would love to see more, maybe blogs? You're very entertaining.

I bought an antique swift and it’s beautiful but it is so hard to use that I hate getting it out. Also the ikea table leg hack is genius! I have an old desk that has pull out surfaces on either side and I use those to do the same sort of set-up when I actually use the swift…
