This short is made of a mesh detail at the top of it and then block at the bottom part
Materials:
Hook: 5mm
Yarn : Any yarn that recommends a 5mm hook (I used robin 100% acrylic)
Scissors
1 stitch marker

Just started making these last night but instead of connecting the middle I kept going all around and made a mini skirt 😊 same pattern just no crotch connection and it came out SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRETTY wish I could post a pic. Thank you for the pattern ❤

I just made these shorts! I used 100% cotton yarn, in an off-yellow color, and I used a 4mm hook! I made a size small. It came out perfectly and fits perfectly! [I made another chain string around the waist because my waist is tiny compared to the width of my hips.] Thank you for the pattern! I appreciate your hard work!🌸🤗

@@laurenmckenzie9318 I made a simple chain as long as the other one in the video. Then you loop the simple chain through the top row of the shorts, around your belly, and let it come out in the front in the same space where the front chain comes out. So when you put on the shorts, you tighten the chain around your waist, and then you tighten the front one you made in this video. When you tie them together in the front, you don't notice the simple chain around your waist holding the shorts up.😊 Let me know if you don't understand then I'll give you my deets so I can show you a photo.🌸

I LOVE how these don’t have a lot of bunching on the top like other patterns , but I think I will put my tie up portion on the side , instead of the middle.

Removed 11 stitches and the waist is now 5 inches too short. I’ll try again without taking away the 11 stitches or stretching the foundation string.

Try making a chain of the length of your waist, then place it at waist level. It could solve the problem. Please how many yarn have you used?

You use a measuring tape to measure between your legs. You’ll hold one end where you want the one side of your shorts to stop, measuring between your legs to the spot where you want the other side to end. You’ll then measure the lengths of your shorts (totaling the front and back together), take that and subtract it from the measurement you first took. The difference between them is the length of chain you’ll need to separate the legs. It took me a few tries and try-ons’ to get it right 😅 (these are my first try at shorts) I’m finishing my first leg rn and just tried em on to be sure before starting the end details and they’re fitting perfect ☺️

Have you tried subtracting more than 11 chains for the waist? I feel that it might cause a little puckering later. Another comment stated that the add an extra row of mess so that they can tighten it with a belt the made from chains. They said it blended well

You should always know where to place your first stitch when you turn otherwise you keep making an increase at the beginning of the row I’ll make detailed video on how to figure it this issue cause I think so many people are having issues with it I’ll address it during the week
