I'm so glad you decided to fast forward the video instead of chopping it. I'm now able to see what it should look like. You video saved me so much time.
The best sole demonstration I've seen anyone do...can u please do a complete slipper tutorial... I'm sure a lot of viewers would appreciate it.thanks soooo much
Thanks Bethany, This is fantastic. It takes a bit of working out, because I am in Great Britain. You use a different term for stitches than we do here, but with a bit of common sense and loads of rewinding it works.
Thank you so much I've tried making soles and I had "frog" them like 20 times but with your voice so calm so persist I'm very happy I have completed them and using them to make espadrilles u r amazing 😘😁👍
Thank you so much Bethany, your sole pattern is the best I have seen so far...although I am a 5 1/2 size shoe I will try your size 6 pattern...Thank you for all your Great patterns & your sharing of them..God Bless
Thank you Bethany. I am in love with these sleepers , I want to make for my old and lovely husband.'Thanks to you so very much. I foud in Emglihs , waw !!!
I had a pattern I always use this method for soles. It was werid the pattern I had said do not connect! But you work the chain. I wish I could send you a photo of this pattern so u could help me. You have single handedly taught me to crotchet
Hi I was wondering if you could show the best way to sew or crochet the sole to the slipper . I LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S THEY EXPLAIN THE BEST WAY TO DO THE PATTERNS ON ALL YOUR VIDEO'S THANK YOU BETHANY !!!
Worked out the first try around which never really happens for me. Thanks for the vid. I used a smaller gauge t-shirt yearn for durability and comfort. I can’t believe how easy this was! I completed it in 20 minutes.
that is so awsome. i try to do it for an adult with shoe size 10 and half. my question is, if i want it beigger, i have to do more of the normal sc (on the sides) or maybe the sc in the round, too? thx
So I'm still a beginner at crocheting, but this was a great tutorial!! I did have one question about width. I have short wide feet and I was just wondering how to adjust the pattern for a wider ball of the foot?
thank you for the tutorial! If I were to be making a sole for a size 10 (10in long) could I do the size 9 sole since you suggested it be smaller than the foot or should I adjust the pattern to make it a true size 10?
Hi bethany may i know what letter crochet you are using I've learned that there is a letter on every crochet i can find a 4.5mm hook but there are several 4.5mm
The link used to work and I had completed one sole. Sadly the WIP stayed in that state for about 5 months and I went back to start on the other sole and the written pattern was gone. Hopefully Bethany sees this and how much we value her work and helps us out 😊
I don't see why you cant, just one major reminder, tell the people your making them for that's it with 100% cotton so don't wash & dry them in hot water or dryer. they will skrink, lol
hi. sry but i am stuck lol at the very start, you made 26 ch and started in 2nd ch from hook. so you can crochet on 25 ch... and you make sc 3, sc 16, hdc 3, dc 4 and one last ch for 7 dc... 3+16+3+4+1=27 could you tell me the reason i am wrong? and excuse my english :)
Hello ...i need your help please ..i want to make slipeer for my 6 years old sister can u tell me how can i make sole for her please ..and thank u for this video
I just absolutely love making these loafers, I just can't stop. I made about 12 pairs in a couple of weeks for family members. However, now the guys want them as well. How can I make larger sizes for men and with a different top for men and boys?
So long and skinny lol! I used a 5mm hook to be able to use this for a mans size 8 slipper. Th finished product reaches from my fingertips to the crook of my elbow😱. I frogged it and I'm going to try it with the 4.5mm hook...
I am on the go and can't work out the starting chain for ya, but I know a size 4 (American) shoe's full length is about 8.2 inches. So hopefully with that info, you can work it out. Hope it helps
Anybody else end up with a size 10 men's slipper even when following the directions to a T? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I even went down a hook size and it still isn't an 8
Ugh!!! So frustrated. I tried following the written pattern first and kept messing up. Tried the video tutorial instead and STILL can't get it. Idk what is going on. I'm not a beginner either lol
Crystal Mullinax ..yes..I’ve been a seasoned crocheter for awhile and those instructions for size 7 are totally incorrect..I’ve frogged a couple of times..I think I’ll find a pattern with clearer instructions...but thanks for sharing your pattern at least it gives us a start
