In today's video I am showing a pair of socks that I crocheted. This is the pair number one of ten pairs of socks that I intend to crochet this winter. I will use different yarns and different designs for my socks!
Global Backyard, "Green with Envy" Happy Hour Mini Skein Set, 85% Superwash Extrafine Merino, 15% Nylon, 435 yards, 100 grams.
Hooks size E (3.5 mm) and D (3.25 mm)

For some of us, yarn and crochet enriches our senses connecting us to nature. I have not attempted to crochet socks yet. When I do, your patterns will be my go-to patterns.

My crochet socks tend to turn out quite tight. Can you give us some tips how to ensure they slip on easily? ❤

That's a difficult one! That's why I don't crochet socks to give to others as gifts, and only make them for myself, so I can try them on frequently while crocheting and adjust the number of stitches accordingly.

Thank you! I crocheted them using single crochets, and double crochets and front post double crochets on the cuff.

I really want to be able to make socks but I am not sure if I have the patience to finish. 😂 The tiny yarn and tiny hook is intimidating. I have big feet! 😅 I will watch you and then decide. I can learn even if I make socks for people with smaller feet. ✌🏻💟😁🧶🇺🇸
