So happy you came to check out my channel! I am truly blessed by all her kind followers that have come over to say hi, means the world to me! So glad you're here 😀
Hi I noticed that a lot of the stitches in your video, are stitches that I created years ago. I’m talking I am now 64 and used the stitches from the age of 10 years. I always create my own pattern and stitches since age 8. It’s nice to see someone else using my stitches in their projects. I have never shared them, except if my projects were seen. Thanks for sharing them.
If that's indeed true, then it's a shame that RU-vid didn't exist back then, we might have all been learning from you. If you ever wrote any of your stitches down, or can remember them to write them down, I sure would love to share them with others. I'd LOVE to see what you came up with!
RU-vid algorithm showed me this and I enjoyed it! I noticed that Raspberry stitch and Raspberry Angel stitch both looked somewhat like Popcorn stitch. Nice! ❤
Crystal didn't send me...RU-vid did! But I now have TWO favorite crochet gurus that I can rely on to inspire my projects.... Meladora and Crystal! Thanks to you both.
@@Meladora1 I've just finished the "Prep row" for the Jagged Scrap Yarn Afghan. Now the fun begins! Using mostly Caron Simply Soft leftovers - hope it won't be too heavy... maybe I'll throw in rows of other stuff along the way and turn it into a "Jagged & Bizarre" extravaganza!
So nice to find you again Candi! Thank you for the inspiration. I too, like to figure pics of stitches out that I find online. Looking forward to more inspiration from your channel.❤
I remember the beautiful Raspberry stitch. SENT by Bag o Day! I was subscribed to you from years ago. Then I looked and I was not subscribed. My favorite of yours is the butterfly stitch. 🦋
Crystal @ Bag O Day sent me. Happy to find my way here! ❤Gorgeous Afghan. Love your color combos. Thank you for sharing .❣️I'm making my 1st afghan and changing up the stitches after each color change .
These crochet stitches are amazingly beautiful. (My fav is the Raspberry Angel baby blanket.) Yout creativity in developing new stitches is appreciated and respected. 😊
I’m from BOD and looking forward to learning new stitches from you and the great things you’ve got going on your channel. Thank you so much Crystal, BOD for sharing this channel with us!!! ❤️🤗🥰🧶🤠
Hello, I'd say BOD sent me (big fan of Crystal's) but I actually happened to come across one of your tutorials and, well, fell in love with your creativity and created stitches! Now I'm a big fan!!!
So happy to hear you're inspired! If you knew me you'd never call me a genius LoL. I think it's the fact that my Mom only taught me the basic crochet stitches and I couldn't read patterns that it was actually easier to just figure things out on my own. Never be afraid to play around with yarn 😀
@@Meladora1 I'm quite sure you are selling yourself short 😀. I can't read a pattern to save my life lol. I remember my grandma teaching me way back when I was a kind not even a teenager yet, I loved it but for some reason I quit. She was a master crocheter is what I called her. She crocheted these table runners and soils that absolutely looked store bought. I've looked and looked for those types of crochet but can never find them...keep creating 🙌🙌🙌
I’ve been crocheting since a child I’m now 41 and I learnt from my nan she said no one really uses patterns so she taught me to look at other pieces and figure it out for my self and ever since like you I just say ooo look at that can I do that stitch in something I want? I can now crochet everything from Irish lace to free form and I just love it. Oh I knit the same way also haha
Humans who are forced to be creative can really surprise even themselves! I have found most people to be at their best and do their best work when pushed into a corner, most work their way out with flying colors! It can be hard to want to push our limits, but we should always be willing to test ourselves 😀❤

Well now that Crystal sent me over, I wish you around when I taught my kids to crochet! They are both lefties and I'm right handed! Between you Crystal and Glenda I'm going to have a tutorial overload!
