GREAT VIDEO - Excellent explanation on this puzzling matter on how to make it invisible - super video and explanation - I, too, thought I might have trouble understanding with yr accent but you did an excellent job of explaining and your accent did not interfere with your teaching. I am off to my yarn and try this right now. Thank you again for sharing your talents with us - much appreciate the help. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for your words and sorry for my late reply. Is one of my oldest videos and I was doing my best. Now are different other methods to make the join invisible and maybe better and this one. I will try to make time and make some other videos with these kind of tips
I thought I was going to be lost by your accent, but because you took your time to explain things, this is one of the best videos on invisible seams I have found. I don't crochet enough to know how to make things hidden or invisible. Thank you for sharing!!!
Ah, well starting out with a double crochet... What a concept LOL! I've never thought of that. Thank you for this great tip and the rest of the advice as well!
When I inc work stays a straight line but when I start with rnds for beanie where I dont inc anymore my work is not a straight line anymore. How can I get a straight line when crochet 16 rounds plz
Hi Rina! the reason why the line is not straight is because working only on the right side. The sts are not perfectly one on top of the other. When you work the stitch on top of the other, the space is slightly to the right. And this is how your work will go. It is more visible when working more rounds. I didn't find a solution to that but it is helpful if you are turning after each round and work on the wrong side as well.
bit slow but very good tutorial overall. I already was doing this as I didn't like the space created by the chains at the beginning. Glad I'm not the lonly one doing this. I'd get rid of that yarn as it looks like a real nuisance. Thanks
Hi, I noticed you did an increase in the first stitch in row 4. If I want to make more rounds, should I always do the increase in the first stitch or should I do this everyother row?
