Thanks for sharing. I had just crocheted a small kleenex box cover for my niece with her initial on the front. I crocheted this project using acrylic yarn and 4.5mm hook....and I slipstitched my final round.
Hi Jayda, my Grammy didn’t crochet, but she always told me I was like my great aunts who crocheted a lot!! And also did needlework like me! They were twins who never married!! Died in their late 90’s!! I learned a little crochet watching my Mom, but mostly self taught. This is a nice, simple pattern that can be dressed up!! Thanks!!
Love these simple projects. I’m thinking of either adding a pocket to hold the remote or maybe a crochet hook, pen, etc… I suppose you could crochet some appliqués to double as little pockets just by keeping the top open.

Oh my. I haven't thought about these in so long. I have to make some. I wonder if there is a way of making one that would cat-proof the tissue box in the bedroom. If we don't turn it upside down and put something heavy on it, she will pull all the tissues out and shred them. 😸
@@Lindamr71965 At least it's not just me 😂. Maybe I will put it on upside down for a week and see if she gets tired of not finding tissues. Something tells me that I won't be able to outsmart her that easily. 😸 Lol

My friend's mom made sure that the tissue box cover matched the toilet paper roll cover and toilet lid cover. And she had a decorated set for every season and holiday. 😅
Hi Blair, if Red Heart makes a cotton in a size 4 than it might suit this pattern (Lion Brand 24/7 cotton is mercerized and will act differently than non-mercerized or tightly spun yarn) but the same hook would still be the best place to start. I haven't tested this pattern with acrylic or different weighted yarns. Thank you for watching 😊
