Been doing this for past yes. Use any stich design from a blanket, scarf, poncho, from a book of stitches, etc. Men like these when out hunting, shoveling snow, etc.

It's great that you've already been doing this for so long! It seems that people who crochet are a pretty creative crowd and are good at adapting patterns for other uses. My husband wants one too...so you are right on with that! 👍👌

I am so glad I found your video. Newbie crocheter and I found a stitch I like but no pattern for a cowl. Now I think I can just "wing it". Clear explanations, easy to understand.
