Hello, it's Thursday!
This week I'm trying to solve mystery patterns! It's start with just looking at the row instructions, then making a guess, then crocheting up the pattern and seeing how close we can get to the original design.
This time they are patterns from the very talented Leigh who runs the channel Skein Spider!

Everything is fish!! Side note, I'm naming one of my goldfish Potato now. Loved watching your vid, I'm glad you had as much fun as I did! I'm definitely on board to do something like this again in the future!

i love that i recognized the first pattern! I made it a few weeks ago for a friend's last minute birthday present so I saw the instructions and went "ah yes. the cute lil fish."

I love getting a double dose of my two favorite RU-vidrs! I have the fishy dangling from my desk light (just below the Puffer). For pattern 3 I think you meant to say "inventor of the "fish kabob". Love both videos, would love to see a trifecta collab with Sticky in Sydney. My RU-vid would become a portal to Nirvana.

I love this concept you came up with! It's so fun to guess along with you. And the first one being a fish was so funny after your first episode. I've started following both Skein Spider's channel and your channel at around the same time so this collab is a match made in heaven :) Your amigurumi turned out super cute! For the longest time I thought narwhal weren't real. Because if a unicorn isn't real, why would a narwhal be?

I don't crochet. (I can create a cat's toy, but i can't read a pattern of my life depends on it). But i enjoy your videos SO MUCH! I do enjoy watching you do these. Perhaps you should try making them by just reading the pattern and not sketching them out first. Then make your guess once you have the pieces made up.

That's a good idea! I've also thought about getting someone to edit the patterns to be a little more chaotic, just to make them a little harder to read.

Well Narwhals tusk come out above the mouth, not the head, because it is a tooth. So you had the placement right with the light blue as the belly.
