Wow that must have been amazing! As a kid just a few years ahead of you on the other side of the globe all I had was a couple Group B beta video tapes that I replayed until they broke! Seeing them live would have blown my mind!!
Great clip Will got a great start a super Driver. The 6R4 seemed to suit this track looking at the clip, just flinging it into that corner. Martin Schanche a great character too
@@PieterHalveLiter yes another great driver.. yes modern rallycross cars are faster but have more drivung aids etc... these 80s 90s cars had character ...oh and real noise...
Matti Alamäki and Will Gollop was best rallycross pilots of that era, by my opinion. Precise, brave and intelligent. And i never liked Schanke both as a driver and as person, too much chaotic and based on his car's tech. More of that, his behavior was disqusting and dangerous at some race when he blocked whole track by standing in the middle of the track on his foot.
