I do see what you mean. I have 2 responses. 1. Some times it's good to make some money. It allows you more time to write more stuff. 2. I think the "real" Crookers music is the stuff where they re-edit vocals as opposed to having a featured singer. If you get the instrumental and throw some effected vocals over it it sounds like classic Crookers.
