So, as the Nowra Croquet Club celebrate 100 years of play with a book launch, we talk to members of all ages who say patience, persistence and a playful spirit is required for this hard-hitting game which is keeping them fit both mentally and physically.
“It’s called the thought sport and that’s particularly important for us older people,” said 82-year-old croquet player David Knott.
