I was a drummer in a rock band back then and we tried to play several of their songs, my opinion the band was never the same the day Young left. " Best Music Ever "
Helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers nearby Awaiting a word Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit, he runs Wishing he could fly Only to trip at the sound of goodbye Wordlessly watching, he waits by the window and wonders At the empty place inside Heartlessly helping himself to her bad dreams, he worries Did he hear a goodbye? Or even hello? They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other Stand by the stairway, you'll see something certain to tell you Confusion has its cost Love isn't lying, it's loose in a lady who lingers Saying she is lost And choking on hello They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other
Even Stephen Still had tuning problems, and he didn't have a tuner, had to tune it by ear. Then he kicked it off too fast. Even the big boys had problems. LOL
Can someone that understand a bit of human voice explain to us exactly which mode each are using? It sounds simple yet i can't take one apart from the other ig stills is using head voice and the other two are using the upper parts of the same register (falsetto) [btw if there's anything wrong bare in mind I'm here to learn so any mistakes just let me know]
Please see how Crosby recognizes the out of tune guitar before they start. Graham and Steven both check and Crosby tells Stills the E string. A hell of a lot of bad things could be said about Crosby but his ear was never one of those.
Your opinion and am happy to respect it. But I disagree. Those harmonies, as others have pointed out, are damn good. There was a reason those popularity continued after NY’s departure.
