So cool to see Neil & Stephen playing those Martins finger-style, and really rockin’ it! This is the music of my teen-age years, so, like, wow, it’s deep in my soul. We’ve lost David, but long live Graham, Neil, and Stephen. I saw Stephen live once, in the early ‘70s, at Memorial Coliseum in Dallas. It was an intense and beautiful show. Rock On, gentlemen!
I can't even see Neil Young without laughing and smiling. I cannot believe that I was fortunate enough to be born in the same 100 year bracket as this man. I remember seeing him live at BST in Hyde Park a couple years ago with none other than Bob Dylan. He played The Needle and the Damage Done and I fell to ruin.
Haha... actually seeing someone refer to Neil Young as ‘that dude in the white hat’ tells me that the odds here are heavily in favor of this being a very young person making that comment. Lol, no offense to ya by any means. Could always be just someone who’s never gotten into music at all, who knows?! Just when I see/hear things like that, I can’t help but to feel older and older. Just the other day, I had 2 thirty something yr olds tell me they had never heard of an Atari before. Man...if that don’t put wrinkles on the face...!
