In April 2021, I rode my 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic cross-country, alone for over 2800 miles from Pacific Beach in San Diego, CA to Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, FL. This is Day 5: Texas Hill Country's Twisted Sisters Ranch Road 335, 336, and 337 to Beaumont, TX.

I’m from San Antonio and just got my first motorcycle, it’s a Vulcan 900. I was doing research and found your “Day 1” video and I’ve been watching since, and to see you going through San Antonio just made my day. Now I know im going to take a trip like this!

I am watching on a tablet and it looks like you have a patch from Pompano Beach Fl. Went to school there and lived in the area 50 years. Was a great place to grow up but like everything in life has really changed. I bailed out to N Ga

Haven't ridden Twisted Sisters but you are now getting into my home turf. No much to see from Beaumont to the state line, except construction and slow traffic.

Definitely check them out sometime. Agreed about Beaumont, though the refineries around Port Arthur were at new experience for me.

Thank you for that! Editing to keep the story moving forward is the hardest part. It legitimately takes an hour of editing for each minute of finished product.

I may be getting old and wimpy but I thought the drivers in Texas drove fast. Even on the smaller secondary roads, hit the edge of town and zoom! 75 mph.

I was riding from the west so I stayed in Leakey at Riverstone Cabins. It was very convenient, clean, and comfortable. Had I been riding from the east, I would have stayed close to Bandera. Enjoy your ride!

@@CrunchMoto, He may, but it's been that way, for a long time. Bandera got the name, officially, just because of some vote about it. Tarleton has a rodeo team, and there are horse clinicians around Stephenville. A famous one is Clinton Anderson, whose place is around the corner from my parent's house. There's even a business called "Capital Hatters".

What type of shots did you use the GoPro session for? And what did you think about it?

I used the Session as a secondary camera. It’s small and light, but has no (or very poor) image stabilization. Got some shots with it on the afternoon of the 1st day, a little in Gila National Forest, and again in TX at Big Bend and hill country. I got it a couple years ago, but added the Hero 9 as my primary camera b/c the Hero supports external mic.
