In April 2021, I rode my 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic cross-country, alone for over 2800 miles from Pacific Beach in San Diego, CA to Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, FL. On Day 7, the final day, I rode through a rainstorm from Mobile, AL to Jacksonville, FL.
This video features POV motorcycle riding footage from a GoPro Hero 9 Black and GoPro Hero Session plus moto vlog video from iPhone 8 Plus.

You nailed it with right amounts of riding, hosting (thanks for telling us about what you saw) and music. I just wish more adventure touring videos were like yours. And most important, you did it on a hog. Proper. Thank you.

Looks like you averaged 414 miles per day. Thats a nice pace on a motorcycle without beating yourself up. I did Chicago to the Florida Keys and back in 1977 on a 750 Honda F Super Sport. Only difference is I left in cold weather with no windshield, no credit card, no cell phones then and only $500 in my pocket. The first day rode 547 miles to Asheville Tennessee and was so cold my knees couldn’t bend to get off the bike and my hands where so cold I literally couldn’t sign my name at the hotel front desk! That was my first day. lol

I just joined your adventure, San Diego to Jacksonville. How cool??! I too would love to do some Touring like that. You're doing that on what seems, the Perfect Bike! I currently have a Goldwing but have had Harleys in the past. I think Harleys make Better Touring bikes. Love the H.D. rumble on the open road. Glad you made it without incident. Watch that Gas Gauge a little more often! Ha! 👍🤗. Thanks for sharing.

What was great about your trip was some of it is on my planned trip BTW I am doing Tampa - Sturgis - Glacier NP - Yosemite - Zion - 3 Sisters - New Orleans - Tampa, looks about 10,000 miles without a weeks riding in Sturgis.... @TexHoss1
@TexHoss1 3 года назад
@@CrunchMoto Well riding 2905 on a scooter in 7 days is pretty steady riding. I thought you run across the country at a pretty durn good pace. I am a retired trucker & most truckers today hardly do 3000 miles a week in 7 days. I have done a lot more than that but that was the old days where we did illegal stuff to do it. With trucks having the big fuel tanks so they would only would fuel up twice in that time span. You definitely had a lot more fuel stops. Good video.

Thanks for watching! I live on the east coast too. I shipped my bike out to San Diego because I didn’t have enough time to ride both ways and I thought it would be better to start with all the places I’ve never been. My planning was pretty simple. I zoomed in on I-10 on Google Maps and looked for points of interest in the vicinity. Then I looked for the curvy roads that connected those places. Hope this helps!
