I have extra brass and have tried more weight in the front, it was too much and made it terrible for descending, it’s pretty much dialled now 😃 Too much weight isn’t a good thing, same as too little. I’ve since modified the front bumper as it was getting hooked on everything
We'll do our magic on it. The cantilevers will help stability & traction. I know you're struggling to get soft enough springs, but if we run the cantilever system at roughly 2:1 to increase travel, then the stiffer springs will work. The sprung weight is so light on the NT6 that driving over an obstacle on a side slope is tilting the chassis rather than being soaked up by axle articulation. Need to make it more gecko like 👌
I’ve been fettling today by adding weight… it didn’t help at all, thing I’ll remove it all again as it’s putting the drivetrain under unnecessary stress. The springs as it sits are waayyy too stiff!!
@@TimsRcsurgeryI'd start with just the +10mm brass hexs & the steel wheels. I'd leave adding any wheel weights until after the suspension has been changed. I hope to get it nice and pliable.
