In this video I will show you how to keep your stitches neat using either a laying tool or by railroading your stitches. There are pros and cons to either method, hopefully this can help you figure out which one is right for you.

I saw someone using a laying tool that looked like a pencil sorta...didnt have that tool so I use my finger and fingernail...works like a gem

Oh that’s cool, I’ve never seen someone do it that way before!

@@gemmastitches you just lay the tip of your finger or nail(and mine are not very long) right where you would lay the laying tool, and the stitches lay right beside each other very pretty. So fast and easy and don't have to hold on to anything laying tool or split my threads(railroading)

@@gemmastitches ive never seen anyone use their finger either....I just gave it a try and it worked beautifully 🥰...give a try

@@ball4932 it works really nicely...stitches are prettier,especially white ones. Dont you think?? Glad im not the only one that does it this way....and its quick.too
