Thank you for sharing how you use my Needle Park Avenue. I hope you are doing well and less stressed. Cross Stitch is great therapy. Huggs!

This is a very helpful video. Jean Farish has a very thorough tutorial on railroading. I love the laying tool. One more thing to add to my shopping cart!

I just found your channel and have subscribed as well as watched all of your previous videos. I appreciate all of the information that you have shared; it is always good to be open to listening and learning something new whether it is something you wind up using or not. For me, I find that cross country stitching is my choice for my full coverage projects, although I don’t do extreme cross country. I usually try to start top left or top right depending on my pattern and I move across to my right or left depending on my starting point. I like to try to fill in the colors as I move so that I don’t have a lot of stitches left here and there; it seems to work for me. I do love the way that the diagonal stitching looks and it is very appealing. So you never know what might be in the future. Thanks again and happy stitching...................

I was a cross country stitcher for a long time too and I do it on sampler type projects. There’s always more to learn on our craft that has a surprising amount of complexity to it despite it being nothing but a bunch of different colored Xs.

I use a trolley needle on my left thumb and stitch with my right hand. So I have my two hands on the top of my work. I use a trolley needle for all my stitching projects. Love your videos.

Interesting! I original started using my ring finger because I saw some stitcher comments/videos about folks accidentally poking themselves in the eye or scratching themselves with the trolley needle so I picked a finger that is always out of the way when I touch my face. And, I found it worked great as well so I never tried another finger.

It’s called Needle Park Avenue. It’s available in a number of Etsy shops for around $10-$12 each.
