Nice, thanks for testing this out. I just have one question for you, do you have to lubricate the metal components such as the trigger and cocking lever mechanism?
Ok, what material and thickness does that pan have? You forgot to mention you're using hardened steel bodkin tips on those blue and red bolts. Nice video 👍
@@76okpeople I appreciate your time and effort in helping to better know the adder...Please share with me a link or let me know where I can purchase the velcro you use to keep the arm down and the bolts secure??? 🤔
For hunting, I'd prefer the non-magazine single shot version. It's called Cobra RX (from EK Archery) or Cheapshot (by Cold Steel) and allows to shoot 15" arrows instead of the 7.5" bolts. It's way more precise that way. But with only 130 lbs, your range will be limited (accurate grouping has a limit of ~30 yds) anyway so anything above a 4x scope will be useless anyway.
Yes, this is true, but I didn’t buy the crossbow Adder really for self-defense, but because I like it, shooting bolt at different Targets is very fun for me, not only that, but it’s a repeating crossbow which makes it more fun to use, in my opinion, thank you my friend
This is where bodkin tips work best - when your wife is angry, and comes at you with a frying pan But seriously, the Adder is a great tactical weapon. One question: why the Velcro over the magazine follower?
From keeping the bolts from flying out if you check the video I did called , cheap bolts very dangerous. You can see what happened. Thanks enjoy The video
@@76okpeople wow. I’ve shot mine a couple hundred times and not experienced that…. And I don’t want to. Better safe than sorry. I will be adding the Velcro to my own. Thanks!
@@76okpeople TYVM for your time and effort to help many know more about the adder...What link to the velcro or name brand do you use to keep the bolts secure??? 🤔
Pretty darn cool!! Thnx for sharing…. Check this out…. know one will believe this but my brother witnessed it… The first 2 shots I took at 35’ went in the exact same spot. The second bolt went right into the tiny hole in the nock of the first bolt. And it is stuck in super tight. I tried to attach a photo but couldn't get it to work, but I have pictures…. now, in all fairness I did miss what I was aiming at by about 5” but I did it perfectly with both bolts! Blew me and my brother away!! hahaha Thnx for the vid bro!
If you Want More Power from a Much Further distance to target, the Lastest is the "Cobra SIEGE", it has a 7 shot Magazine, Like the Cobra Adder, EXCEPT it shoots a Heavier Bolts this means much a higher on target Energy for Much Larger Game, these heavier Bolts are also LONGER. The SIEGE has almost Twice the Power that the ADDER has, TWICE the POWER, And the the Bow LIMBs are in field or at the target adjustable, that means Adjustable Power level. adjustable Cocking pressure, so my wife can shoot the Siege on Lower power, and a Longer cocking lever, is for Lighter cocking pressure, compared to the Adder. I have the Adder Like yours with the 7 bolt Magazine. But the New Cobra Siege is a Different Animal all together. The Siege is capable of Much Higher on target energy and Fast Bolt Speed, over a Much Longer Range to target, and has a Higher Accuracy at a further distance. Why the Trigger is Better, and less string pressure on the trigger both of these make a Much more accurate X-bow. The Siege is MORE Compact, as it is very narrow as it uses a Compound bow technology, Cams and roller bearings, taking the Cobra SIEGE, Several Technology Steps Further than the ADDER. Dont Get me Wrong, I Love My Adder V2, I wont ever get rid of it. But the Latest Tech that goes WAY beyond the Adder, Is the NEWEST X-bow from Joerg Sprave, Its the Cobra SIEGE.
The siege is certainly much more powerfull, but i am told it is also much more bulkier than it appears. It truly is a crossbow meant to be used with a tripod, unlike the adder.
@@billyandrew I own a Cobra Siege with the GoGun magazine but use it as a single shot crossbow instead. The magazine allows only 7.5" bolts which then need heavier tips to avoid overstressing the string on trigger release. Also, you need to do some assembly for the magazine to work, i. e. changing out the rail itself. As a single shot version, you can use the 15" arrows with 3 vanes and are completely free to use whatever arrow tip suits you. There are alternative open magazines available that allow you to also use 15" bolts, though.
Yes it is! We sell them here: gogun.co/collections/cobra-adder/products/cobra-system-r-series-adder-tactical-repeating-crossbow I am sure this guy bought from us since he has the V2 magazine.
First of all I am a Christian man, Number two what are you trying to say that all Muslims are terrorists? Number three I am not doing crazy things I’m just having fun with my crossbow Adder, I am always very careful, when I’m doing a RU-vid video,I believe in my personal life that safety comes first
