@@FazerWiz that’s not deja vu, that’s repetition. Deja vu is the uncanny feeling of having a memory of something you are experiencing for the first time having done it before.
@@prinssdgunofficial2400 It was entirely unnecessary. As a bilingual French speaker I know what it means (literally "already seen"). I was quoting from the move - search for Deja Vu the Matix and you'll see exactly what I mean.
@@jellysquiddles3194 A retarded rule because sights only make a device more accurate i.e. more likely to hit what you intend. Does the state want you to actually miss and hit someone you didn't want to? Because if what they care about is murder, that's pretty much already illegal and someone actually wants to kill someone else isn't going to care a lot about breaking some other stupid law...
@@Jp-ue8xz German law is stupid, no doubt. However, I have the first version of the Steambow Stinger with the attached lasersight and changed the vanilla 50-60 pound limb with the tuned 130 pound Cobra RX (Which in reality is over 150 pounds). And I bought 6 packs of the red hunting arrows. And I even added a leather bicycle handle coat around the metal handle at the back, for comfort and more leverage. And that beast is compact and absolutely deadly. Its so powerful that I shot one red arrow with steal tip on an old door and the tip actually got so deep into the door that I couldnt pull it out without tools. Imagine what it could do to tissue...I highly doubt the wound caused by that could be closed without some serious surgical equipment and expertise. Before death dueto bloodloss occurse, of course...
@@nilok7 i dont even know why they do it. Its like they cant sleep at night unless they pass some bullshit law that really pisses everyone off and takes away freedoms.
I recommend rubbing the bolt shafts with paraffin wax for easier removal from targets. It’s available in the canning supply aisle of any supermarket. Maybe wax will increase penetration too!
Looking at the results of the smaller bolt Im thinking if the flights were made to detach when under pressure from the target (maybe have them mounted in slots, so they push out backwards )it might get further into the target.
Might be hard to get them to stay with the bolt during flight but still break away on entering the target. Unless... Idea... Make the nock a breakaway part and have the the fins attach to it. The string would accelerate the bolt by pushing the nock and that way it will stay with the bolt. The fit between the bolt and the nock can be loose enough that it easily is stripped from the bolt when entering the target. OK so it can probably be done, but the question is how much of a difference would it make.
THE MORE I SEE OF MR JEORG, THE MORE I AM CONVINCED THAT HE COULD INVAID THE SUDATON LAND ALL ON HIS OWN, BUT WITH A BIG SMILE & A CHUCKLE,! BEST OF LUCK JOERG.
The vanes aren't as big of a factor as you made them out to be. The target material resists compression and takes energy to compress robbing it from the projectile. The boradhead cuts material in a wider path than the shaft. The material around the shaft has to be displaced regardless, but the broadhead allows the material to be compressed to a lesser degree locally- it spreads the compression throughout the now "freed" material.
....you did not "show us its features"...again. That makes me sad Joerg; you need to stop breaking our hearts. If it happens again, I don't think we can be freunds anymore.
darn having visions of that small tactical crossbow with 3" longer limbs, then pulleys to make it a compound crossbow for shooting longer bolts. adjustable draw weight, relief point, longer stock and arming lever. something to be said for a 2 speed automatic transmission drag racing, same for the way a compound bow delivers higher fps, the double kick. more complicated but possible, easier to arm, longer faster projectiles.
Hey Joerg, is a flashlight legal to mount on crossbows in Germany? I think you can make one approximate a laser by putting a reflective cover that have a small hollow tube on it. Just a thought.
Holy crap I want your setup 😍 how much$$ I ain't got much but hell this is a must have this is a real eye opener 😳 I would be shooting this daily several times especially with today's ammo prices
It seems to me that the bodkin tips would be a prefarable "all round" type of bolt. If you're firing at a moving target, it's hard to guarantee that a broadhead will hit soft tissue. But with the bodkin, if you hit a ribcage, it's tip is likely to cause the bodkin to slide in between the ribs, even if it first hits a rib directly by glancing. Or if you hit skull bone, the bodkin is powerful enough to break through.
Nope. The bodkin, while cool, generally does not penetrate as well as a field point. I’ve tested it, both on archery targets and on pork shoulder. What the bodkin penetrates effectively is chain mail. The person breaking into your home? The odds on him wearing chain mail ever, let alone while invading your home, are effectively zero.
Jörg says the broadheads penetrate deeper because the veins move into the slot (reducing resistance), but then the broadhead on the long arrow also penetrated deeper, where the veins did not even go into the material. So obviously the broadhead tips themselves do something better.
How much kinetic energy is in the Broadhead darts. What is their affective range on axis deer? Also is the crossbow accurate enough for hunting, and what is the effective range? What is the kinetic energy at 40 yards or 37.576 m, also the weight of the darts? Well you pretty much answered my questions it’s really cool to have a pump crossbow, we don’t have anything like it here in the US.
I´ve made not so good experience using these archery mats. I´ve combined five layers to stop bolts from a very strong crossbow (tenpoint nitro xrt), but from 50m distance the bolt penetrates the mats to the nock, which means you have to dissassembla the target after shooting. I´ve changed the target to a bag full of rags (22kg) and this target stops the bolt even from very close distance. The first advantage is, that you are able to withdraw the bolt with two fingers. The second, that the price is something around 40€ instead of 180€.
Whilst not technically a slingshot, would you please review the Airringer Pistol. It would be interesting to understand it’s out of water, if not its underwater performance.
im sure if that if the compound was set to his true drawlength it would have penetrated much more. would have also been nice to see them shot at a practicle distance (25-40yrd)
Image being a criminal breaking into Jorge's house then this hulking dude comes out of nowhere with one of his death machine inventions and says in a deep German voice" let show you it's features" !!! 😂 Great video man
given there's enough force behind a projectile, shot placement is always the determining factor if an animal dies quickly, suffers a prolonged death elsewhere, or doesnt get hit. How accurate is your crossbow?
