Pro tip for crossing deserts: Travel at night when it's cooler, make sure to have tons of sun screen so you don't get sunburned, make sure to have something to protect your eyes in case winds pick up and starts blowing sand everywhere and the eye protection will help keep sand out of your eyes like a camel, rest during the day so you can travel at night when it's cooler, if you think you see like a pond of water then use your phone's camera to make sure it's real cuz it could be a hallucination or a mirage and the phone's camera will break that hallucination or mirage cuz the phone's camera won't see the hallucination/mirage since it was never there That's all I know

thats the desert my mom walked barefoot when she was 18 in Texas this is awesome and amazing but always told always keep an eye out for rattlers and scorpions, but the real challenge is to walk from Sedona Arizona to Humbug creek nonstop this looks like fun though one day i plan on going there and do what my mom did to commemorate in honor of her.

in that desert id be looking for geodes they are made by lightning when it strikes the sand depending what material like copper or iron makes different color of crystals in the geode, another thing i want to do like what mom did back then i look forward to doing this but Crocs though those will cause blisters galore be safe and have aloe vera and triple antibiotic cream on hand please

Just like me I have walked 12.2 miles on day 1 of trek, 4.3 miles on day 2, 11.5 miles on day 3 and 5.6 on days 4 I alway believe in you even though you feel like you can't. its a challenge but you made it work because of your positivity
