Crossing Burnside's Bridge: New Skirmish Mode - War of Rights Gameplay - Hey Guys! War of Rights has recently updated their game and added PvP combat. In todays battle I fight as a private in the 20th Maine. We attempt to cross Burnside's Bridge multiple times against the confederate position. War of Rights is still in Alpha it is a work in progress. Enjoy the Battle :D

3 waves 5 to 6 men per wave. 10 feet behind the first wave maybe 15 feet apart. Flag bearer up front Sharpshooters in the rear. Fix bayonets on my signal we charge. Sharpshooters take out any defenders behind the fence. First wave take out the targets behind the fence, second wave take out any remaining defenders on the fence then move up hill. Third wave move up hill. On my signal charge!

joseph pender i wouldn't think so. The reason why Napoleonic Wars was so successful is because of the gameplay. For now, this game doesn't have much potential, due to the clunky animations, super sway aiming and pretty bad melee mechanics. Maybe in the future this changes, then it would have a lot of potential.

You know what makes this game great it's because it's something different. I am tired of world war 2 games, modern warfare games. This is something different and the graphics looks good. It just needs more players.

I was quite conflicted with this one. On one hand, your charging was epic and so is Battle Hymn of the Republic. Sang that in my choir, and boy was it epic. However, the light hearted instrumental arrangement of Battle Hymn mixed with your entertaining skills just made the video feel more fun! Pixie only you can do that. You da best!

I love how in the middle of the battle you found time to just chat with a teammate you've never met before. It added a level of authenticity. Also, I liked your idea of having a covering squad during the charge!

This is incredible! I live right outside sharpsburg and the battlefield in this game is amazingly detailed. It looks like the actual scenery.

Burnside's is literally hell to capture. NOTE YOU NEED A LOT OF MEN. AT LEAST 8. The tactics are: Large volley fire, charge on bridge defenders, and move over and form into skirmish formation and hold the bridge from there.

That "Big Tree" in your way is still there today. I've been to Antietam battlefield many times and this map gets it pretty damn close.

I’ve been to Burnsides Bridge and actually tried running across it. What is amazing is the bridge and the embankment make the creek look deep , but when you get up to it you find that is is easily fordable! It doesn’t even come up to your knees! But on a map and from a distance it looks like you HAVE to cross using the bridge. A lot of good Union boys died because of that mistake.

Saw for first time. Good job getting killed over and over again. The last 5 or 6 times all I could do was laugh. Not easy I'm sure, but I was rooting for you with that epic victory thanks to your bayonet on every charge. And you fell so short. Thanks for the vid replay

sarin the gun he’s using is the pattern enfield 1853. It was very much rifled and could shoot 1000 yards accurately.

Great video, Apollo. Do you think we'll ever get full-on set-piece battles? It'd amazing to see regiments of line infantry marching forward as one, firing volley and then charging home with bayonets. It would be like a first person version of a Total War game!

I can't wait to play with my regiment, and I do believe I saw myself run across the screen a few times, as a Confederate. I still have a few questions though. Like how we will join up with our regiment from the actual website, how you stop everyone from being an NOC, etcetera. Also, when the game officially comes out and you have your regiment, will you be the commanding officer of that regiment? Or will you switch between an officer and private between videos?

I can't wait for this game to come out on Steam. I am hoping to role play as Confederate Russian Conscript. He complains about being away from the garden he worked so hard and being conscripted in the first in place. The Conscript doesn't care about any politics but he does care about surviving the war and going home.

the point of charging in two waves is to have the enemy waste all of their shots on a few targets, then be reloading while the second wave butchers them

For the food question the Union rations mostly were Hardtack and salt pork whereas The south had a great idea variety of food and more food Long live the Union!!!! Edit:I’m glad Lincoln won election in 1864 because otherwise the CSA would exist
