Damn thing wouldn't stop hissing out all the valuable co2. So I took apart the magazine and found the culprit. Hope this helps with all leaking magazines. Cheers
Well it’s been a blast so far!! I spent extra and got 60 co2 and extra mag. Looking to get a red dot next. Iron sights work. Would like a different look and custom reticle
Also, wanted to ask,is there anything that can be done, to make things run faster?? Mine seems to shoot slower than others I’ve seen. It’s lubed,on friction points... any other pointers???
Holy crap!!!! This thing is a beast! All broke in now... it shoots fabulous!! Super accurate in semi.. good with burst... total FUN ,but crap accuracy in full auto.. unless you have a row of beer bottles to kill
I've bought 4 extra magazines and so far had none come defective or with leaks. Which is surprising considering how many bad reviews I've seen for the spare mags. I also oil them inside and out everytime I use them and make sure to break down the gun and use airgun chamber oil on the inside every 3000 rounds or so. And I use pellgunoil on the mags. And put a lil on the tips of the co2 cartridges as they go into the mags. My baby runs like greased lightning! I love having extra mags because you can load up all five and pretty much shoot the entire afternoon as long as you keep the speed loader handy. I even got a tactical chest holder for my magazines and loaders. They do get pretty heavy though. 5 is like toting around a 20 lb weight on your chest. Which I guess just makes it that much more realistic
Thank you so much man you just saved me $50 on a new mag. Side note for anyone actually having this problem you might have to screw it in for a whole 10 minutes just stop the leaking its tedious but worth it
Thank you man. I just took mine off the rack to plink around a bit in the yard and realized mine was leaking from the same spot. I left co2 in it for about a month or so. Probably my fault but this seems to be the remedy.
Thanks, gonna try this when I get home. Also going to email Crosman and see about replacement magazines. Both of mine leak just like this as of last night.
@@mahman8888 Yeah man, I'm just about to follow the tutorial so I'll Let you know how it goes! one of my magazines has been broken almost since we got it so I would suspect this happens all the time.
@@mahman8888 Wow it worked. It was still hissing a tiny bit but I opened it back up and tightened it more and it stopped. also put oil at the cartridge tips!
The valve stem is not threaded, but oughta by this described action create a better seal for itself towards the plastic seal that is behind the brass nut around the visible rear of the valve stem (referred here as "nipple"). This action also can help keep the valve stem's front o-ring in place - especially if all is well lubed. I prefer silicone oil (I ditched Pellgun Oil a long time ago)..
U are past point of no return. The seal will have torn. This is why we use pellgun oil on top of each fresh co2 cartridge to prevent tearing. Ur basically banging the old lady dry there is going to be miniscous tearing.
AK1 has the same issue but idk about same solution. Regardless, I hope they fire these incompetent children in 3rd world countries putting this shit together.
I have the same gun and mine leaks from the top seal of the co2 when i tighten it.. im going to put some oil on it maybe it will help. 50 dollars for a new magazine is crazy
Ok man use a piece of teflon tape on top of co2 cartridge to create seal. what happens is when u tighten it dry it rips the green seal.. that's why u pellgun oil the tips of cartridge to prevent that. Hope this helps
Thanks for the tip! I tightened it to where I could hear the least noise from the gas hissing but was wondering if it should be completely silent or if you can still hear a little bit of faint air hissing. Its not that loud, but when your ear is close enough its noticeable. Thanks!
Thanks for the Video, I would like to have seen you take that back apart and see whats behind that nipple part you tightened, since it is threaded, either Teflon tape on threads or Small amount of blue Loktite on threads so it seals and doesn't loosen from Vibration again.
All that nipple does is turn and turn and turn it's like a valve. It's not threaded so just turn it until you can't hear air leaking out anymore I'm not sure what the issue is with the magazine or why would even do that in the first place.
@@JD_1 then there is definitely something wrong if you can only refill 3x.. do you have another mag to test out and see? I can usually get about 200-225 shots @25 bbs per mag.
@@mahman8888 Wow! Yes it has to be defective. No I dont have another magazine. I just bought this gun Saturday from Academy. I will contact Crosman about it.
Every time you put in a new c 02 cartridge, you are required to add a little bit of pellgun oil to the tip of the seal. Otherwise overtime that green seal will rip and tear . Leaving u a leaky useless airgun.
