I am so mad at myself. I didn't realize that the Golden Spikes worked on the switch tracks and was wondering how the heck was I supposed to make parallel train lines like you have here.
I'd very much like to do a mini-series on the principles of station design, however i'd like it to be a bit more high quality than this, so for now i'm gonna hold off on it
@@matthewantley327 its been something I do a bit of work on every now and then, but you see in the video is about 3 weeks of touch and go progress, I've been treating it more like a model railway then a Minecraft build
Try 13 and 40 for track lenghts. They are the perfect and they dont overlap that much. 13 you have 1 block between the rails and the 40 haves 3 blocks.
Yes but 13 ends up being really quite sharp though, whereas I wanted to make points that were a bit more realistic, and as for 40 and 3, yes that would work, tho to be perfectly honest i'm not too big a fan of 3 block spacing, when you consider that the space between to lines is 6ft irl in the UK, 3 metres just doesn't look right and wastes a lot of space
