I like your approach of sticking with the studio version but adding a vocal line and after the studio solo you cherry pick nice licks from Mayer’s live solos such as Toronto. Excellent. Thank you.

It's my favorites SRV song. It's on the difficult side in my opinion, took me a few months to learn it note for note. The rythm is the most difficult part but once you understand it, the song is quite easy to play.

Get some other good musicians (drums/bass/keyboard) and find yourselves a name and launch your own experience. Your talent is not made for youtube only. If you don't care, I respect. Just a guitar player's remark. I don't see much young blues rock players these days.
