Hi Everyone,
Thanks to all subscribers, over 500 now! Great stuff.
Apologies for not posting recently but getting back on track soon.
This video is a quick visual update to construction at Mount Dennis, Keelesdale and Caledonia stations with a wee bonus at the end.
No Vlogging in this one as I just wanted to highlight the progress.
I'm sure you'll agree that the news about this project's delays has not been good but you wouldn't know it visiting the sites.

How deep is that Keelesdale station? That looks too far to walk. It seems like at least 4 stories, but it’s too deep to see the bottom of the stairs. I would ideally expect a bank of high speed elevators or a bunch of escalators at the very least. All these new deep bore tunnels for new subway lines seem like a mistake. Isn’t the Ontario line going to be even deeper? They should build the tunnels closer to ground level.

This is a secondary entrance to be fair. The main entrance has stairs, escalators and elevators I believe. There definitely an argument for shallow cut and cover subways but it would be very difficult to avoid major disruption to accomplish that. If you are only going one stop, walking is a better option. That is quite a climb though.

There's a tiny few updates, which is probably just very few panels missing, but the bus signage is installed. However they are busy and on their way finishing up the furniture, gates, presto booth, ad spaces, etc!

I believe the park opens at the end of the month. For sure I’ll check it out. I’ll try to get around to Villiers island at some point. Not sure when the new Cherry st will open. Thanks
