I once had a chicken called Kelvie, cause one day when I was shutting the fridge door I thought I heard a tweet - right in my right ear level with the egg rack, turned my head and there was a tiny white chick - blending in perfectly with the plastic like a toy - and when it moved I thought I was nuts (I've lived alone in buttF nowhere for a long time) but no - I just got another Pet; this is how I always get them. I also have a Cat called Pudditat who just moved in one day, she like artichoke soup. We had a few gashes and she ate all the rabbits (head first - not a pretty sight) but she's tame now and beautiful. Kelvie was snow white with red feet and was born in a Kelvinator in +2c; I did not eat her...

Ricky when my daughter was small, it was just me and her. I was in bed reading and on the opposite wall was the biggest arachnid I have ever see outside a zoo (in AUSTRALIA). It was headed for the built in wardrobe. I had schooled myself to deal with smaller scale spiders but this was beyond me. So, I did what any sensible arachnophobe would do. I phoned the local police and threw myself on their mercy. They came. 1am, 2 of Essex' finest man mountains arrived and argued about who would tackle the beast. Neither wanted to. I was almost losing my mind by then. They hijacked it with a towel and escorted it off the premises.

About the chafing, a Marine D.I. told me this and it works like magic: put corn starch (not corn meal) down there when u go to bed. You will wake up the next day and it’s like alchemy; the chafing is GONE.
