“Crowley had made it.and now Crowley was stuck in it.” my favorite part of this is that we get foreshadowing of this level of stupidity on Crowley’s part way back in the beginning: when he shuts down all mobile communication within central London, forgetting that he himself *LIVES* in London and communicates primarily via a mobile!

Just when you think you couldn't hate M25 more haha. One of the most epic scenes in the show. Crowley is my spirit animal, and Tennant was the absolute BEST choice to be playing him. One of those shows that is as amusing as the first time, no matter how many times you watch it. Brilliant work!

The M25 was meant to be 1 of 4 ring motorways around london which would have improved traffic around london tremendously. So yeah I can imagine this is how it went down when the plans were scrapped.

I’m not sure that could happen; Gaiman respected Pratchett too much to make changes to the story or even cut jokes when he wrote this show. I doubt he’d be willing to continue the story all on his own

Apparently both Pratchett and Gaiman had fleshed out a fair amount of material for a second book before deciding not to go ahead with it and there has been talk about using that as the template for a second series. Gaiman himself has said "I don't feel it's done and dusted", although he has brought up some issues with a second series, including the fact that what they came up with would require at least 2 more series to do properly (not a major problem as such, so long as amazon are willing to commit to two more series). So although there are no immediate plans the possibility is there and it would certainly be possible to do it in a way which is respectful to Pratchett's vision and wishes.

As much as a second season would be AWESOME, it's pretty unlikely. However, as another person commented here, Neil does have some content that could potentially work for a new series, but that might be tough. But I can assure you, if there were to be more seasons, Michael Sheen would cancel all his plans just to do that. Also, I'm p sure that if the next season was just them throughout history, the fandom would be content. Also, they could literally just go through everytime in Doctor Who when they've gone back in time on earth but just a different perspective, because everyone knows just how many Doctor Who references there are in Good Omens

guyana153 They might be able to put together a good sequel story, but I think Pratchett provided a lot of the absurd comedy of Good Omens. Gaiman can write quite funny too, but I’m not sure he alone can be as comedic as Pratchett could

If anything, it's Advanced Demonic work. Long term suffering infecting many more than one single soul at a time with evil. Everyone who can't get through on the phones, everyone caught in never ending traffic (I can relate to the traffic, I've driving on the US National Capital Beltway before), all tainted with anger, anger that gets taken out on others.
