The input Y disables the volume knob on channel #2. If you have the amp driving speakers with the crossover enabled, you don't have a way to balance the lows and the highs I believe? I'm thinking I'll still need an external Y cord? Thank you for what's installed so far. It makes these amps do so much more than the old ones. I still prefer Crown products for their clean crisp sound. I've used them for my whole life. From the old D series, to the PSA2s, the micro and macro series, and now these new DSP series. They have always supplied me with dependable crisp power. They help make my systems perform flawlessly.
I can't believe how easy it was to make a change with my computer. I went to unplug the amp from the usb and saw the limiter was now active for example. Beautiful! Now, I'm going to have to figure out how to get my android pad to work so I could make changes in the field. I downloaded the band manager but I couldn't get it to load?
Hello ! I would like to buy 3 pieces of xti 4002, and I would like if it is stable in 3 ohms? I have 2 2x12 inch basses equipped with Eminence Lab 12, and 2 more basses are coming also with Lab 12, the speakers are 400 w rms each, 800 rms each subwoofer. The speakers have 6 ohms each, 2 per enclosure in parallel results in 3 ohms. And I would like to know what rms power I would have at 3 ohms? I assume it won't drop much below 4 ohms? If at 4 ohms it is 1200 at 3 ohms it can be 1250-1300w. And the last question, isn't 1200-1300 in 3 ohms too much power for an 800 w rms subwoofer, although the music program is 1600 w on each subwoofer? If you recommend me confidently and safely to amplify the LAB 12 Bass, then I will place an order for 3 pieces. Sincerely, SOUND EMINENCE LAB 12!
Can I run three 2002's reverse the polarity on one, adjust delay for a cardiod array? I know four is better for cardiod but even more $$$. You cannot adjust delay on the XLS correct?
The computer usb is connected directly to the amp but the software still can't find it. Sorry, I'm old - expecting something new to actually work is foolish of me.
