Was always wondering which software the Crown Amps where using.. Ive used software alike before. And i must say my man this laptop gives me memories. my sister had one of these that i worked on in the passed XD
You may want to look at the Audio Architect software. This is the software that is used to manage the amplifiers (just like in the video). I think there is an option in the software to reset the amplifier. The software is free to download from Crown. As of this comment, I think the software version is 2.55.
If the laptop was on a closed network without internet connectivity when you checked for firmware updates, it might have missed potential newer versions
Good point. Last year, I spoke with Harman about that; they indicated any new (updated) firmware, for any of the products Audio Architect supports, would be included in the upgraded Audio Architect software. They stated if a new firmware version is not listed in the updates, there is no upgrade available. Thanks for the comment!
One question on that app can you only connect macro tech. I have a 9000I that when I pass level 10 volume it protects itself and I have to bring it down to level 8. Do you know if it has a limit on how high it can go?
