Jen took that night! Her gown is one of my favorites. It will stand the test of time, even for 20-30 more years. Some of the gowns in the current period are not so astonishing.

El mismo top 3 de 1970 y ambas del top 3 que no es Estados Unidos le ganaron. Puerto Rico le ganó a Estados Unidos en 1970 y Australia quedó de 2da finalista y llegamos a 2004 donde Autralia le gana a Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico queda de 2da finalista.

Actually the best Miss USA titleholders failed to win the MU crown while "just nice" US representatives won. Look at Debbie in 1970, Judi in 1978, Julie 1983, Christy in 1986, Courtney in 1988, Gretchen in 1989, Kenya in 1993, Ali in 1996 and Shandi: they are stunning, to die for, could've been amazing winners but they did not get MU crown (though some of them lost to drop dead gorgeous winners as it happened in 2004).

I saw Shandi said "Good Luck" then when they announced Jen as the new Miss Universe she walked away. It's almost as if Jen needed luck to beat her at that point. Very cocky, fake and did not congratulate her. A sore loser at best 👎
