Once upon a time, I was watching a car show called smoking tire and thought "I love that this is another car show I can tune into, but it could definitely be more exciting". I was going to post something to that effect, but noticed that there was already a pissing match arguing that same point, and didn't want to get injured by Blazer who is clearly defending the love of his life. That said, I'm glad the smoking tire exists, and look forward to continued improvement in the show.

me coming off as an old friend instead of a "TV Guy" is a bad thing. Most people think that my personality is exactly like an old friend that you can trust having fun with cars and telling you about his experiences. I do the kind of stuff that you would want to do with your car, and of course it's fun. If I am really missing out on key information about the car, that's one thing. But from what I've heard from others, I do a pretty good job with no script and no budget.

I'm not on the Bullrun show, but I do appear in Black Magic commercials on a few episodes haha.... Team HemiCuda is the Janos family, and we're just cheering for them on the show.

I asked the same question about a month ago. They said that both would be fine, but if anything were to happen, The Smoking Tire would be your main source.

it was the old address of the Park Avenue studio at Next New Networks. Now, it means absolutely nothing.

I haven't done burnouts in anything "wierd," just standard sports cars mostly. I drove a Supercharged Toyota Sequoia that would chirp third gear with an automatic transmission.

Did a burnout in a backhoe. Also a very big attention getting burnout in a peterbilt 387 smoking all 8 rear tires! The last one.......... EPIC TICKET!

there's a microphone 2 inches from my mouth on my helmet, so you can hear my breath severely amplified.... plus, when you see 1 minute of edited hard driving footage it's more like 10 minutes of driving around as fast as possible while talking as much as possible, it's not nearly as easy as it looks. I welcome anyone else to try that and not be winded at the end.

Keep up the good work man, While you may not be Top Gear, which has a totally diffent budget, I still enjoy watching every episode that has been released. Hell, the autoshop teacher caught me watching the car wash episodes, he showed them the next day in class, along with the difference pre and post tune-up.

Got in trouble once for doing a burnout in a backhoe! Wished someone had a camera. Also managed to do a burnout in the Peterbilt I drove with all 8 rear tires!!!!

You guys need to chill the fuck out. @Blackmist127, I have ZERO professional on-camera training, other than the 250 or so online episodes we've made in the last 3 years. I'm certainly not perfect, but we don't get paid to make this show. We make it because it's fun, and we hope to some day make a real living out of it. We're always trying to improve, and if you have specific creative criticisms, I wouldn't mind hearing them. But I'm not sure what "gitty" means, and I don't know why

Matt, honestly i dont think you do a bad job... especially for a budget less show. i mean lets be serious its totally fun to do the things you get to do. that being said, my comments on your performance are really aimed at making the show even better. i did use the word "gitty." i was referring to the fact you get so excited when someone offers you their lambo for example. basically to a normal person, we would be gitty but if you are a show host i feel that should be an everyday thing.

Thnx for actually replying on that i actually went and watched the first episode after getting off youtube looks like it's gonna be a cool season. Maybe you could talk to Derek D and ask him to start responding to comments about him. Anyway you look like you have a cool thing going for you here with "The Smoking Tire" and I hope it stays around.

My Mitsubishi has one of the most powerful 4 cylinders for its year and class (05 Galant). My car also has a 100,000 mile warranty, and my car has no turbo. Stop being a troll.
