I wasn’t super into the Crucible Knights but when Devonia did her weird centaur move plus her cool hammer moves, that got me. Something about her makes me go “Oh fuck yeah this is awesome”
@@znegjorinorino5735 Too bad that Aspects of the Crucible: Bloom is one of the worst Incantations in the Game, and easily the worst Crucible Spell. I would've much rather taken the Centaur spell, even if it was shit, just for the cool factor.
Well, I learned two things: First: Now I know why the crucible knights respect Godfrey. Second: It seems that the silver knight Ledo has a sister, the difference is that she uses holy damage and becomes a centaur.
Godfrey was NOT having any of those treacherous shennanigans. Laughed pretty hard at Devonia prancing into the Waterfowl Dance later on, too. Like a graceful deer into a woodchipper.
@DuncanMaisonneuve-kk3vf all crucible knights are named after prehistoric periods in Earths history. Devonia is named after the Devonian period, that period itself is named after Devon in England
Crucible knights might have the most whackiest looking abilities in the game, except maybe siluria who's ash of war is one of the best in the entire game
Well, it's not surprising. They're like two and a half meters tall in full plate armor and helmets using giant weapons. Most people are used to seeing female warriors wearing skimpy outfits and no helmets.
Actually, there is no reference to Devonia's gender. However, given the feminine name, I would presume the character is probably a woman. Siluria is confirmed a woman though. Her gender is referenced multiple times in the game. I think the reason a lot of people don't realise they are female, is because the Crucible Knights have no discernable gender characteristics. They are all clad in heavy armour, and seem to have roughly the same build as each other.
@@xxfalconarasxx5659okay i get it im just saying in this "current era" there are some trolls and/or some people who presume there are too many female characters like are we projecting the gender with the name or was it really the intent but considering this is fromsoftware i dont think it matters unless somebody outright steals the story bible of this game (p.s. i dont mind the gender ether way after all anybody can become a cat centaur if you belive in spiral power lol)
Im used to seeing these guys fight in duos or trios, so seeing Devonias do as good as she did is really surprising Edit: apparently Devonia is female, apologies
It was cool to see her moves! After she clipped me so hard the first time, that I found myself in my brown pants, I just buffed up, drank Physick and chain-Savage Lion Clawed her ass, so she couldn't do shit, so I missed all the eye candy lol. A veritable miniboss.
Rykards greatest Enemy is his own AI, I swear also I would like to express my Gratitude to that one Furnace Golem at Rauh Ruins who kindly flameswirled Devonia to death for me, thank You Golem, I would not know what to do without you setting my arse on fire
Hey there what mods do you use to summon npcs to fight eachover for the tournaments but also your camera being able to free roam, i would love to know.
Anybody else wish the player could hold colossal weapons like hammers the way Devonia does? You have armours like Tragoths and Lionel's that are basically unusable with heavy weapons because of the horrible clipping. I don't understand how From didn't think about that during development
Well to be fair, his blood is super diluted. I mean he's a descendant of Godwyn I'd imagine since he's part of the Golden Lineage. His grafting ability comes from Marika's shaman heritage, but he wasn't strong like his forefathers and sought out grafting in the hopes to make himself strong. If it weren't for his Great Rune they he undoubtedly inherited from Godwyn's line, he wouldn't even be considered a demigod.
@@kevincruz8692 “wrecked”? He has 5k HP and 80 poise + his destined death isn't as strong as it was (because they gave the DLC enemies resistance to it so we don’t melt the bosses easily) yet he puts up a good fight in most of these. I think you know that DLC bosses have high damage/resistance due to the Scadutree system, right? Even Malenia who has 2 health bars, lifesteal and rot gets wrecked by DLC bosses even though her rot is the only thing that works like it does in the base game (and saves her in a lot of these fights).

I am going to be honest with you. When I first encountered this mob, I just finished him off in 2 hits, more precisely- in 2 casts of "Taker's flame" ash of war. It was an absolute joke of a fight, I didn't even get to see its centaur moves, not a single attack. And then turns out this enemy does not respawn and it was supposed to be a LEGENDARY knight. Wow. They didn't even make it a boss fight! C'mon Fromsoft.
20:01 how did all the Rancor skulls completely miss her and not explode while she was just standing there? Your Rykard bugged out or his attacks aren't programmed right.
