I feel like it’s just trendy to hate Starfield. It’s not Mass Effect, and it’s not No Man’s Sky. It’s its own thing, and I enjoy it for what it is.

@Bragituba You are allowed to like something others hate. If you think the game is worth your time and money, cool. But to say "it trendy to hate Starfield" is kind of a strawman argument, glossing over actual criticisms people have of the game. We don't spontaneously hate on something, and we don't come out of the gate hoping the game is bad, especially when it costs a hefty price. For example, the loading screens for the spaceship transitions is a legitimate critique many people have. Some think it takes too long and pads out the game, hurt the open world element in Bethesda games, etc...

@@ShinigamiSamaH I know there are legitimate criticisms of the game, and I’m not talking about those when I say it’s trendy to hate on it. There are people out there that hate on it for very trivial reasons, but you’re right, the loading screens can get a bit superfluous. I haven’t had one last longer than 5 seconds, but it does break immersion a bit. It doesn’t bug me as much since I only get time to play it MAYBE once a week, but I’m sure if I had more time to spend on it I’d be more annoyed. I don’t mean to come across as saying this game is flawless, because it’s not. I DO enjoy the game quite a bit, and sometimes feel the critics can be a bit harsh, or outright biased…given Bethesda’s recent track record though (looking at you, 76) I can’t really blame them. I suppose I’m just tired of seeing the same (albeit sometimes valid) criticisms over and over again when all I want to do is enjoy something in the little time I have to do so.

@ghostdragon2282 Well, to be fair, there ARE content creators based around Nikke. So it's possible. Besides, the game isn't nearly as graphic as you might think. Or maybe I'm just desensitized 🤷🏾‍♂️
