When my new favourite cruise vlogging channel put out a towel folding tutorial, I was naturally straight in there. Turns out making towel animals is harder than it looks though!

I've made so many things in so many crafts, but when that elephant's ears flopped down correctly....THAT is satisfaction 😅

I absolutely LOVED this video…..You my Dear are a risk-taker extraordinaire DIY/er if ever there was one……I was laughing with You….not at You….the editing was so cleverly done between You and Frazier……oh before I forget on Part One…..which I thought was so much fun…….Your clothing garments were the perfect vibe for the cruise so festive and showed your tall slender body perfectly…..at 72 I know a few thing so trust me please……

Haha, thank you, as soon as I saw he'd put that video out I knew what I must do! Hopefully he's not too offended by my shoddy take on the dog 😂 Also that means a lot to me honestly, was very happy with most of the things I made and took and now I just need to make some warmer bits and pieces for next time!

My hat is off to you for trying and completing the towel animals. On our cruise we had a stingray, orangutan and a bat. They were awesome and we definitely didn’t feel okay with taking them apart. Thanks to sharing the video with us so we can attempt it on our own. 🚢⚓️

We had a dog that was a bit different to this one (and a bit more in proportion) and Dave, knowing what I'm like, made sure to dismantle it on purpose before I got too attached. Then we also had a crab which I kept for the rest of the week and guarded with my life 😂

Do I need to try even more crafts? No. Am I going to try this so I can be cookies auntie when my nieces stay over and see towel animals? Yes. One slight hiccup we have just as much of an eclectic mix of towels as you do. Our towels may or may not be pool towels from the hotels we’ve stayed in 😂
