I remember when i put my crx b20 turbo, the 3 inch downpipe was rubbing on the ground when I was braking at the end of the quarter miles because of the slick not having enough pressure. I had to weld a skid plate so that it will not rub thru the downpipe. Lots of memories on my first car

About that tape gun. I have that same scotch brand one at home. Had the same problem at first, I ended up taking it partially apart and fiddling around with it, got it nearly as good as the tape guns I used when I used to work in a warehouse. In fact the biggest difference afterwards was the thickness and rigidity of that clear plastic plate. The pro gun had a thicker plate with less flexibility. But, just fiddling around with it (can’t remember if it was slotted and I could adjust the blade out or if I expanded the holes, might have also roughed up the clear plastic plate so it would grip the tape better) made a world of difference and I could just focus on taping up boxes instead of getting the darn thing to do what I wanted it to do. john, back in the '70's I used a tape machine with a pull handle that fed , wet, and cut gummed paper tape to length. Uline plastic tape dispenser for your volume looks best.

The tape dispenser with the buttons is the one we use at Amazon works amazing

If you'd let Esther handle the marketing and the guys work on the projects LHT would prosper greatly.

Turn the tape dispenser at a 45degree angle as you want to cut it and it should cut fine.

I have never had one of those tape dispenser to work without me using my hands to cut it.

Turtle was fine.

Lol...I'm 30 I've owed my hatchback 92 dx mpfi swap on stock d15. Anyways that sounds so old skool. If it's gonna have an intake we are gonna put a header... If we run stock air box we are gonna run stock header... Vintage talk....

Them red u-line dispensers are complete trash, the old gray ones are fairly solid though. Those tape machines are awesome though, they work great, the only downside is that the tape feels nasty (like wall paper) and you have to occasionally clean the brushes on them or else they gum up. (I work at a print shop that ships about 5-10,000 packages a day) Also, love my CRX shirt and LHT koozie.

I think the tape needs to go in between the black roller and the silver plate in order for the teeth to cut it.

John, look into a mouse trap tape gun , they are the best I've come across.

I ALWAYS had to run skid plates on any of my headers on my crx’s. Maybe you guys could build a 4-1 that would have better clearance?

All you have to do is just hit the tape roll with your other hand. Cuts it perfect without spending $1200 for an electronic tape dispenser.

Try use a dc2 OE air box.

You are using the tape gun wrong, to cut the tape all you gotta do is twist with a little pressure, has nothing to do with what type or tape is being used. Lmk when you do this, gosh I wish I can see your reaction. 🤙
