i really want to play it because i just recently remembered it existed but the game window is like broken and i have no idea how it fix it lmao. But i never knew it was made by 4 people, thats awesome
@@lizzyred3677 Could you describe the problem in more detail? Cry of Fear uses GoldSrc, which is a modified Quake engine created for Half-Life, so there might be fixes for related games that would work
@@AbandonedVoid ok so, i encountered this problem where the game window does not fit like the whole screen, and what I mean by that is like parts of the game I cant see because it looks cropped, but cropled just enough to piss me off and make it hard to play. I admit, im not well versed in computers at all, like I don't know hardly anything about techy stuff, and I couldn't find anything useful on google
@@lizzyred3677 That sounds like a resolution problem. Here's a possible fix for Windows: 1. Go to the Cry of Fear folder. (usually installed somewhere like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common) 2. Right-click on CoFLaunchApp 3. Select Properties... 4. Select Compatibility 5. Go to the tab labelled Change high DPI setings 6. Disable "override high DPI scaling behavior"
@@lizzyred3677 Another solution might be to play in windowed mode and then switch to fullscreen in-game, which is what I did a few years back when I had a similar issue
Agreed. I love this game to this day! I always listen to Andreas rönnberg's music when im drawing. He released a new track called insanity a few days ago, you gotta listen to it! Have a good one
I finally understand the meaning of this song. Simon went through the crisis and horror of what was going on in his mind and city. He has achieved a lot and now it seems he is already starting to get out of this hell. I am a 3d artist student and want to work in game development. I did a lot of test work and got rejected and it was terrible. But here I went to one studio. There were 847 people for one workplace, which is normal for juniors. Now March 3 will be my first working day. And as in this track, finally calm before the impending horror. I've been doing nothing for the fifth day, just waiting, but so calm
I know you won't probably see this comment. But I hope you've been accepted to wherever it is that you're trying to reach. And even if you didn't don't sweat it. We always fail more than we succeed but we're all allowed to fail many times in our lives. Until one day we win.

Dang this basically played in my dream once, I mean it was the time before Covid-19 got here, beucase I was playing Garry's Mod - Union City map and this song played with the map, and drank coffe in one of the restaurants. This is kinda what it looks like now, you go out no one home and pandemic goes on. God I hope this ends soon... so I get to see my friends from school again.... this kinda makes me sad. Anyone here makes it think the same as me?
