CRYING MY EYES OUT BECAUSE OF *AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR*! (PART TWO)
Oh my gosh.... guys.... Here is Avengers Infinity War!!!!
I'm going to try so hard not to post any spoilers in description (even if everyones already seen it and knows what happens lol) but the ending... shocked me to say the least. I had some sort of idea what was happening but it was still heartbreaking to witness when you grew to love every single character. The ending will speak for itself 😭😭😭
Its been a rough movie, but I thank every single one of you who have joined me on this journey so far. I hope you can enjoy this with me :)

Fun fact just to break your heart even more: Groot’s ‘I am Groot’ lines are usually translated in the dialogue scripts into the basic gist of what he’s saying in English. The whole "Thano wants to kill everyone to impress Death" was the comic book version of his motivation. In the MCU, he's worrelied about overpopulation killing everyone, so he just wants to kill half at random so the rest can live.
@greywolf7577
@greywolf7577 Год назад
In the end credits scene for one of the earlier movies, a follower tells Thanos that challenging the humans is "courting death" and Thanos just turns and grins at him. I love the double meaning since the follower is trying to say that challenging the humans will get Thanos killed, but Thanos interprets what he is saying to mean that challenging the humans is a way to flirt with a woman called Death. That scene was clearly a nod to the comics motivation of Thanos.

The thing that makes me the saddest about Peter's "I don't feel so good" is that, unlike other characters that get dusted, Peter has his Spidey-sense. Since he can perceive danger a few seconds in advance, his body is basically screaming at him that he's gonna die, but unlike every other time with his spidey-sense, where there is an action he can take to prevent the danger, there is NOTHING he can do to save himself. I feel like the sensation that prompted him to say "I don't feel so good" is him trying to understand the fear of certain death within a few seconds... the kids like what? 15 in this movie? I cant imagine dealing with that at any age, let alone 15. Imagine just standing there, deciding to look to your right and there's suddenly a train coming at you... and no matter what you do, you can't get out of the way. You are correct about what you read or heard about the Thanos lore. In the Marvel comic books he did have an infatuation with the physical personification of death, who appeared in human female form as Lady Death. He was always trying to impress her by killing and destroying more and more living beings but this storyline was too abstract for a live action movie and the MCU writers thought they had to figure out a motivation for Thanos's killing crusade that was more believable for the casual movie audience.

Each Infinity Stone has an associated power and color. Space Stone: Blue, originally housed in the Tesseract, which was eventually stored in Odin's Vault on Asgard. Gives the user teleportation to any destination of their choice. It can also be used as a power source. Mind Stone: Yellow, originally housed within Loki's Scepter. It was then used to create Vision and rested within his forehead. Gives the user the ability to read and control other peoples' minds and wills. Power Stone: Purple, housed within the Orb that was originally stowed away on the planet Morag in a decrepit ruin. It was given to the Nova Corps on the planet Xandar. Thanos destroyed Xandar using his enormous ship, which is known as the Sanctuary II, in order to get the Power Stone. This happened off-screen. Gives the user immense strength and the ability to decimate or destroy practically anything at will. Time Stone: Green, housed within the Eye of Agamotto necklace worn by Doctor Strange. Gives the user the ability to control time itself, rewrite certain outcomes, look back through the past, and see any and all possible futures for a given thing. Reality Stone: Red, originally housed within the dark liquid substance known as the Aether. It was eventually given to Taneleer Tivan, the Collector, on the black market trading nexus in space colloquially referred to as Knowhere. Thanos kills the Collector to retrieve it. Gives the user the ability to create reality as they see fit and form massive illusions that affect the physical world or space around them. Soul Stone: Orange, locked away behind a sacrificial altar on the planet Vormir. This sacrificial altar is guarded and tended to by Red Skull, who originally seeked the power of the stones. For abusing their power, he was banished to Vormir to be the guardian of the Soul Stone for those that attempt to claim it. The Soul Stone itself is its own pocket dimension that can contain the souls of those you have killed or put into the stone itself. It also seems to be able to let you talk to the deceased or have some kind of vision or out-of-body experience with them. If it has any other kind of powers outside of this, they've never been directly addressed nor have happened on screen at any point. Thanos sacrificed the only person he loved, his adopted-daughter Gamora, in his quest to rid the world of its overpopulation, thus gaining the Soul Stone. Hopefully that helps you understand the power of the Infinity Stones more :) Always enjoy watching your reaction, Vkunia! Thanks!

The first response most people had with Thanos' "plan" was, "why doesnt he double the resources instead of halving life". The science consultant for the movie spoke on StarTalk Live about it. He said that he tried to stick to the rule that "Energy cannot be created or Destroyed", and "Entropy always increases". Thanos couldnt create resources from nothing, and he couldnt convert potential energy in space to be resources due to it requiring to reverse entropy. (Although the same guy later said that the Time Stone reverses entropy, so its a plothole in the end)

Yes, Thanos from the comics is obsessively in love with Death, who finds him useful but doesn't share his interest. In the Infinity Gauntlet comic, which this movie is partially based on, he wipes out half the life in the universe in an attempt to impress her. My headcanon for the scene with child Gamora near the end is that's Death herself talking to him, (indirectly) asking what he sacrificed for her.

I think that fact gets dismissed (unfortunately) because Thanos is the film's "villain"... Random 50% sounds fair, Earth governments would eliminate middle/lower class with no remorse. Unless you're rich, a scientist, or connected, you'd be fucked sideways.

@14:11, I love the fact that Sam and Rhodey two Air Force guys are wingmen. Rhodey outranks Sam by several officer ranks but he sees him as an equal. Usually in the comics, these two don't interact a whole heck of a lot plus Sam isn't a military guy

If you saw in the end of the movie it's written that "Thanos will be back in Avengers 2" not Avengers will be back.. showing us that this is thanos' movie and continue to make us realise that avengers stood no chance against Thanos pretty much in the movie It feels like Salt in the wound in theatre when in the end there was a complete pin drop silence and very few voices of sobbing it was literally emotional

I don't think it even said Avengers. It just said "Thanos will return".

I actually remember yelling "Fuck you!" at the screen when it said Thanos will return. I was not happy.

The scene where Thor arrives in Wakanda never fails to get me hyped up. And the way he demands that Thanos brought to him is just icing on the cake. The cake of pure liquid awesome. The king of Asgard has returned to avenge his people. Someone get this god a Thanos!

One of the things I remember discussing when I came out of the cinema was how from a twisted perspective, Thanos truely believed what he was doing was right, but he also knew he was the bad guy for doing it, especially after he sacrificed Gamora. When you consider his own planet was destroyed because of overpopulation, it's understandable how someone could believe that such a thing was necessary, especially when he's been killing populations through war like with Gamora's planet, and has seen positive results. That's what makes him fascinating to me. He's the main character of this film, and he's not a typical villain at all, he's truely nuanced

Thanos won because he was prepared to sacrifice anything to achieve his goals. The avengers could have stopped him multiple times but “they don’t trade lives”

I don't think Thanos thought he was the bad guy. He certainly knew some people would think of him as the bad guy, but he "knew" he was the good guy, and the heroes were the bad guys. The story is really the typical "hero's journey" if you think of Thanos as the main character.

@@ianwestc I suppose that's what I meant. He believed it was what had to be done for the good of the universe, but everyone will view him as the bad guy for doing what had to be done
