Oh my gosh.... guys.... Here is Avengers Infinity War!!!!
I'm going to try so hard not to post any spoilers in description (even if everyones already seen it and knows what happens lol) but the ending... shocked me to say the least. I had some sort of idea what was happening but it was still heartbreaking to witness when you grew to love every single character. The ending will speak for itself 😭😭😭
Its been a rough movie, but I thank every single one of you who have joined me on this journey so far. I hope you can enjoy this with me :)

I love the interaction between Thor and Quil; you can tell Thor wants to hit him, but at the same time Thor isn't as immature as he was in his first movie and understands that physically assaulting Quil for copying him is going just a bit too far. So Thor is trying to figure out a way to make Quil stop without resorting to fisticuffs. I suppose in their youth Loki may have acted this way. Mischief and all. So Thor already knows that as annoying as it is to be made fun of, punching the other guy isn't helpful. Great interaction.

19:55 "If it comes to saving you or the kid or the Time Stone, I will not hesitate to let either of you die." That's why it's so important to move without delay. You wait for _Thanos_ to make the next move, you can be sure he'll move when _he's_ ready which will give him the most options for curtailing _your_ options.

3:28 Thanos is "The Mad Titan." While he is from the planet Titan, he is actually a Deviant Eternal, a race of beings that are splintered off from Celestials (some of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe). As such, he is immortal in terms of aging, he is very strong (as you can see him beating the Hulk), and he is one of the beings in the universe that is capable of handling an infinity stone, let alone all of them, bare-handed without it instantly killing him. Basically, he's about 3 levels down from "the most powerful being in the Universe"

@vagabond142
@vagabond142 Год назад
@@jspres86 Kang is several steps below Thanos in terms of overall power, but he is extraordinarily, superbeing-level intelligent. We're talking nearly godlike levels of genius in all things, from maths and science to philosophy and arts. He is a time-traveller, so the version we get in Quantumania might be the Kang in his very first iteration, or he could be the Kang that is hundreds of years old and has amassed so much knowledge as to be able to jump dimensions as well as time at will. He's still probably in the top 20 most powerful beings ever, but not through strength or endurance, but for being probably the smartest villain in the entirety of the Marvel universe.

This was SUCH an experience in theaters, if you were a comic fan. First, none of us in a billion years thought we’d see The Infinity Gauntlet made into a movie, much less one this well done and put together. Second, us comic fans were kinda braced for what was to come (especially if you followed movie news and knew these were being referred to as parts 1 and 2)… so to watch the average non-geek moviegoers melt down over the ending, like “What in the flying 🤬🤬🤬?!!! THEY CAN’T DO THAT!!!”… it was, I gotta admit, kinda funny. 😊

No, he was just murdering people. Malthus was wrong, not to mention the doom saying idiots of the 1970s like Paul Erlich, who predicted mass starvation and the collapse of western civilization by the year 2000. What's truly irritating is how many ignorant people say "Thanos had a point."

And it's kinda meh. They turned him into this kinda sympathetic villain, when that doesn't seem to have been the plan. Comic Thanos is a nihilist and loves death, I mean actual being, not just a concept (cause it's Marvel, so of course death is a person). He's doing those killings because she wanted him to do so and he does to try and win her love. Check Thanos's cameo at the end of first Avengers and how he smiles when he's told to fight the Earth's heroes is to "court death".

Yeah, it's something that newer reactors miss out on. We had been building this story along for a decade, with Infinity War being 10 years since Iron Man 1 came out. A decade of development and build up to seeing all the Infinity Stones come together, slowly building up Thanos' mythos and plan and to finally see him in action after all that and to see him *win*, it was a long year to wait for Endgame to see how they resolved things there. I saw Infinity War opening night and I will never forget that ending. Typically when you go see a MCU film there is cheering and excitement in the air when the end credits roll, but the silence that filled that theater was only broken by the sobbing and the pure disbelief at what we had just saw.

I know people will say Thor's entrance into Wakanda is pretty epic, but Cap's entrance when they save Wanda and Vision is just awesome.

Just like the first Avengers film, it was all hype leading up to it and it well worth the wait. Hell, when i saw it the theater was PACKED, then the a/c crapped out. It was damn near 80 degrees in there but no one walked out. We were all that hooked.

15:10 Indeed, the New-York attack in the first Avengers movie, which takes place in 2012, was organized by Thanos. He decided to sent Loki and the Chitauris (Thano's army) to get the Tesseract. However, as the Avengers won the battle, we can see in the post-credit scene Thanos standing-up and saying "Fine, I will do it myself", like he can't rely on anyone else

He said that at the end of age of ultron the first post credit scene after avengers was the one we’re the weird servant to Thanos that Ronan the accuser kills in GOTG tells Thanos that humans cannot be ruled and that if they were to challenge them it would mean death and then you just see Thanos smile

@@vrbty The quote was "To challenge them is to court Death." Thanos in the comics is a nihilist who actually loves and seeks the favor of the Abstract personification of Death. That line of dialogue is actually encouragement to him, he smiles because he wants Death throughout the cosmos.

Fun fact to comic books readers : the way Thanos transformed bodies of Drax and Mantis in the movie (cubes and ribbons) are the exact way he transformed the bodies of Eros (brother of Thanos) and Nabula (his daugther) in the comic book "The Infinity Gauntlet", by Jim Starlin).

3:25 In the comics, Thanos is the son of an Eternal who was born with a Deviant mutation. So while he maintains the intelligence and heritage of an Eternal, his physical appearance is that of a Deviant. It's never mentioned in the MCU what Thanos actually is. The movie Eternals explains what the Eternals and Deviants are.

I like how Thor sympathizes with Gamora about having a tough family because that’s something he can relate to. I mean think about it both his parents and his brother died right in front of him. Not to mention he had to kill his own sister.

when you see multiverse of madness, there’ll be something in the movie that’s a call back to when u thought thanos killed the guardians team and drax turned into cubes, you’ll hopefully notice it when you watch it

This is Marvel's best movie. Nothing coming afterwards could ever top it. You want to know why? While endgame is more Grandeur in size and scale, the ending to this movie was something so shocking, brave and unpredictable it left entire cinemas DEAD SILENT. This can never be repeated. The hopeless and empty feeling after leaving the cinema Was jaw dropping and amazing in a strange way.

Back when this and endgame first out yeah had to see it opening night for the energy and just experience..leading up I was so excited for my wife and I to go see it marvel movies was a thing we did…she left a year before infinity war so leading up to this movie and endgame was super excited but sitting in my seat clock ticking down in theatre I turn to my right and see an empty seat …I went and saw both of them alone. And was really biter sweet…🤷‍♂️

Another great reaction Vicky! Avengers: Infinity Wars is my second favorite of the MCU movies (Captain America: The Winter Soldier still holds the top spot). I love the way they portrayed Thanos, little bit different from the comics but that's okay. Your reactions are always fun and entertaining and your smile is infectious (in a good way). You always make some good and interesting observations and you have fun and are funny which is always refreshing. Keep up the great work and many blessings to you and yours.

Thanos, in comics, is a hybrid between an Eternal and a Deviant. Eternals were beings that inspired the Earth-based gods (Thena, Phastos, Gilgamesh, etc.). Devians were originally humanoid, but are more beast-like in the movie Eternals. P.S. Consider Tony talking about having a dream of having a kid. When you get to Multiverse of Madness, you'll get it.

Here's the tragic thing about the movie version of Thanos: In the 1800s, there was a British intellectual named Malthus. At the time, lots of commoners were starving (e.g. the potato famine in Ireland). Malthus suggested the solution of killing half of all commoners in order to prevent starvation. It never occurred to Malthus to suggest that the nobility live with fewer luxuries and use some of that wealth to feed the commoners. He just callously suggested the worst possible fix for the problem because asking wealthy people to be a little less wealthy was inconceivable to him. Thanos is very similar. Once he had those infinity stones, there are a nearly infinite number of things he could have done. He could have created a duplicate universe and moved half of all sentient beings to the other. He could have doubled the resources of the existing universe. He could have cut the desire to reproduce of all sentient species in half. There is any number of possible solutions once he had the power of the Infinity Stones, but he stuck to the most awful solution in part because of the trauma of watching his civilization die.
