They have definitely upgraded their customer support. I received live chat help in less than 15 minutes, and we chatted for more than an hour. The support person was very responsive, there a was most often less than a minute to receive a response. They had a lot of patience with my questions and offered me lots of space to share my concerns and clarified any misunderstandings that I had. Big thumbs up for that!
It's not fake. It was my experience in all truthfulness. And to call such a big enterprise a scam is just silly, in my opinion. Reminds me of the retoric of those fundamentalist BTC maxis. Anyhow, for anybody with some common sense and discernment, they'll see that your lobsided opinion holds no merit in any discussion of value.
This is why i don't use this heh no offence...i found that i can exchange all crypto/paypal/skrill on instagram.com/paypalcrypto My friend recommended me this service since they don't ask for ID or any fee and i have used it ever since... I used paxful before but rates are awful..
The biggest problem with using Crypto to pay for goods and services is that there is no purchase protection like you get when using a credit card. The retailer can benefit by saving on fees, but the buyer actually losing out. Its the same issue as when using cash and why we are often advised against it because its not safe.
Really well done Guy. I think I've had $4 in fees from coinbase in the last 30 days, so I don't know if it's worth it to sign up to another exchange to save on fees. I agree that .5% is soul crushing.
Their customer support is the BEST I've ever seen!! They've made a lot of changes since this video. A real person answers you in chat within a couple of mins. Tops. ❤️❤️
Great exchange except for one thing and that is selling crypto vs fiat currency. The displayed value of your crypto in the crypto wallet doesnt ad up to the real fiat sell value (click sell any crypto currency / fiat wallet) . Im new to crypto, please share advice or thoughts on this matter / compare to other exchanges.
many see forex say a get rich scheme but forex is not like that, it's a gradual process with the right tools and application you can make a living from forex trading....
Great video Guy! You understood the CRO stacking requirements for Syndicate wrongly though. There is only the one 6-month staking program in the exchange (3-month staking comment is wrong). This is for everything: 20% interest, reduced fees, better soft staking rates, and of course, rights to participate in the Syndicates. Once it’s staked, then you are free to allocate more CRO for all the Syndicates that comes along. You don’t have to restake for each new syndicate. And after 6 months, you can still leave the CRO staked with option to withdraw anytime; and still participate in the Syndicates. But once you either top-up the staked amount (or unstake after 6 months and restake); then the 6-months period restarts. One other major miss is that Exchange is not available in USA currently. Also, no discussion on Exchanges is complete without talking about withdrawal fees... Cheers!
I have had great response times with their customer support. 9/10 times within a hour. That one time was a day later. 2 theories: they are gaining a ton of new customers or the more money you have on the exchange the higher priority...
Have you tried the support recently? Five months ago, waiting time was 3-4hrs; now it’s at least a week, if not more! They are really dropping the ball here... Or maybe you hold one of the highest tier cards; then I heard you get preferential treatment (as it should be)...
Have you covered the currency exchange fee on the app? I’m new to it, I sold polygon with a little profit and wanted the money in gbp. It wiped out most my profit.
I closed my account. They have the worst customer support I have ever experienced. If you never have a problem they are probably fine but if you ever do, don't say you weren't warned.
I don't hear it mentioned much, but a good part of the credit card fee is to cover credit card fraud. Not only does the fraud itself have to be covered by the card company, but the administrative costs of dealing with the fraud also must be covered.
I dont like the fact the staking appears to be a separate entity . I wonder how easy or hard it is to get your assets back once unstaked. Or if that entity decides to go belly up
I use this exchange and I like it, but At the moment I’m not completely comfortable doing large numbers with them due to there compliance making decisions on whether to accept withdrawals and deposits etc (like coinbase etc)
I am in the USA and have the Jade MCO card and its the main reason I got involved with Cypto.com. It was difficult to get my bank linked and a debit / credit card attached for many reasons. I would really want a web interface to access my account and hope its in the works for USA users. I am happy I got the card and the perks are amazing so far.
also if you're just trying to use "spend it/fuck it" money you should honestly use you're saved up money IMO. The price is so low, it pays it back (probably 125-175%) easily in Spotify and cash back in your first year and half using it. I bought 500 MCO a month ago at 5.15 and am completely satisfied , would of LOVED the deal at low 4s. Again just my opinion tho
Crypto.com removed GBP fiat wallet last week and now there is no way to hold GBP fiat on the exchange or what's worse, you have no way to transfer your money back to your British Bank account!
My problem with Crypto.com as an exchange is that it’s not a true exchange at all. You cannot place a limit order. You can’t see the spread that they use to determine what price you are actually getting, and the only way to know the actual price you are paying for your trade is by calculating the amount you are receiving before you authorize the trade. If the crypto you want to buy has low liquidity you most likely will not trade for the price you think you will be trading for. 20% slippage is common on Crypto.com with no warning at all.
Recently (1-2 weeks ago), the support took nearly two weeks to respond. I wouldn't put my money into a product of a company that takes so much time to reply...
I started to use this app since September 2020 great app as you explained however there are afew things which i would preferred to be changed or i wish i knew beforehand . 1) they have suspended there GBP wallet . 2) if you topup mco visa card from your crypto holdings you cant reuse the same card to buy any crypto on the same app crypto.com 3)if you sell your crypto you cant withdrawn funds back into your u.k account . 4) as you mentioned i have contact the customer service about 3 days ago and still haven’t had any response from them . I trade with Crypto.com. I has very high withdrawal fee. It does not charge a trader for trades but trading exchange rate is high (you get fewer coins in return). Crypto.com is good for traders who are not tech savvy (ease of use), but it is bad for professional traders.
I needed to contact their customer service, and they responded within two or three days. I've been using this exchange for about a year and I have never had any issues. Withdrawals are fine, exchange access is fine, and the app works nicely. I'm pleased with them.

I love CDC, the syndicate is the best thing in Crypto. Totally agree about the customer service response time but they are good when they get round to you. My mate lost out £1,600 in an XLM > CRO move, he made a complaint about it and it took them a week but they just gave him £1,600 worth of CRO. He was gobsmacked but they won a customer for life.

They have a really nice brand (which youtube bans you from mentioning for some reason) with the app and their cards. I personally think they should ditch the exchange as they just can't compete with binance. They should focus solely on staking and card services, it's a unique niche that they are excelling at. They are not perfect of course, their in app fees are high and the supercharger program is confusing and disappointing. However, there is a lot of stuff they are doing really well. I consider them to be the first crypto service for the mass consumer market. That's huge.
Stay away, Crypto.com's customer service is literally the worst I have ever dealt with, which is completely unacceptable for an app that's supposed to handle a commodity as volatile as cryptocurrency! They are more concerned with acquiring more new customers than serving/maintaining the ones they have.
Hi Guy, I've used this exchange a few times and I do like it, but as you said its not my primary exchange. Also I've used the customer support twice and had a quick response, "with in a few hours"
Not a joke. And not legal advice. Ask them if you are able to bill them for your time for them trying to talk to you about ‘your account’. Your fee. Like $5000.00 for the first 2 minutes to talk to you.

I was just thinking.. Oh no! They are in Hong Kong. What about China's new national security law and all of the companies that have to be 100 percent compliant with giving away all of their information at any given notice. The ability to possibly take all of your funds ect. It is incredibly worrisome how much power the CCP has. They need to get their company out of China and into Tokyo or Taiwan or the U.S.

Binance left China in 2017 and has set up in Taiwan, Tokyo, and the U.S. They are just recently starting to work with China again and its not what you think. If Coinbase tried to do that I would get reimbursed and if they didn't I could sue the company because it isn't a CCP owned company. In china the CCP owns everything. Unless you put the communist party first then they might allow your particular religion but it is subject to change as their laws are bendable and breakable to them. They can just adapt their law if they don't like you.
super spam. sorry, as you say it’s personal choice but as i’ve been in crypto since early days of mtgox, i don’t trust any exchange, however big they seem. i don’t consider myself a whale but i have a decent amount of btc and other crypto and don’t want to risk it on exchanges, i also don’t trade, i hodl so getting off my hw wallet quickly is not a biggy for me, good luck.
Lads, Swissborg offers an app which is far better than crypto.com and at least they are Swiss based with EU licenses so ten times more trustworthy than Crypto.com
The exchange is still on the BETA phase. Margin trading is supposedly going to be added according to the roadmap. Im thrilled for their official launch of their exchange.

I like the effort Crypto.com is putting in creating an ecosystem. There is no doubt that they have in their hands a brilliant project! and 1 of the best for what concern use crypto for everyday use. Pro-and-cons on my opinion will always be there for any exchange or company in the cryptosphere, especially with projects at early stages. I use their exchange and i think is nice! also to consider 1 thing...Is Beta! As affectionate user is a thumb up for me. As always you guys almost read my mind for what concern content...all the things I''m looking to learn are well covered in your video-list. Unfortunately user in the US only have the app also kyc in app was annoying for some reason it kept sending me emails saying it was not a live photo, had to redo kyc at least 5 times
My bank keeps blocking my crypto.com purchases. Until today, I was irritated and mad because by the time they unblocked it, things had gone up by 10% and I bought them at peak. My bank told me they don't have a physical address so I got online and started looking. Yes, they have one in Hong Kong. So my bank unblocked China. They are formally Monaco and they tanked it and started crypto.com. They were accused of insider trading. MCO is Monaco, the company they tanked on purpose. I don't like that I have to do everything on the phone. There are terrible reviews on the app. Read them. People have a lot of trouble withdrawing funds off of crypto.com. I am new to crypto, I don't have a lot invested, but I am VERY uncomfortable with this company.
If you are good at analysing crypto charts and trading, then you can make a lot of profits by swapping digital assets on a regular basis. Trading can even be a full-time job, which provides enough income for an individual to survive, but the profession can also be risky.
Have any of you have had trouble paying for bitcoin with credit or debit in crypto.com ? This is the first time of years buying on the web , and no problems at all . It seems that their platform it is having some issues , because I have talked to my bank and the credit services and they do not find nothing wrong.
I would like to try out the syndicate events, but due to the restrictions in Hawaii I doubt we will be allowed to have access to the exchange. If this ends up being the case will probably start offloading some CRO.
