A really great lesson. One of my favorite 60's songs from an underrated, but much covered group. For example "Mony, Mony" re-done by Billy Idol & "I Thinks Were Alone Now" by afemale artist whose name escapes me now. Tommy James is great.
Might be good to point out that these chord forms are not the way Tommy James did them, although they are a good approximation of what Tommy did and what the keyboards were doing. Tommy actually played everything in an open "E" tuning. His first grip on the main riff is at the 7th fret. Just in case there are any purists out there.
I watched this a long time ago and part 2 as well. I recently went to refresh my memory and realize at the end of this you mentioned the chord change after the bridge of this video would be in part 2. I did not see it there. I was able to figure it out but, some may not. Thank you for keeping your videos up. Nice work.

Nice job. Very helpful. I respectfully suggest that your closing Bm7 x 8 is really Bm7 x 4 + E9 x 4. (Essentially the same shape, w proper bass modulation/chord notation.)
