Cool thanks steve. Im gonna order a roll of that. I currently use polyester fiber. the pillowcase stuffing, but a roll of that looks to be reasonable enough price wise also. Can't see why i can't use a roll of that in conjunction with poly fiber. I use socks also with a UV light. My tank so clear my skimmer never pulls anything out anymore, but i have a fish only tank. Makes a big difference. Always had nasty skim mate with a reef tank.
Rotter Tube Reef nah, after i got rid of the corals, inverts and killed all the lighting the tank cleared up. Rocks started to turn white again, Coralline died off, filters ran cleaner and i always have that option to use Cuprmine if i buy new fish. Use to do water changes alot and don't really do those anymore. Hardly clean the glass. Have cheap set of lights that i only turn on when i feed the fish or if i just wanna look at the fish.
Try a sand filter soon! I’d love to see your results...my only gripe is it removes salinity over time...not sure where it goes but i actually never add fresh water to my tank anymore because of it...i’ll keep you updated as it hits the 2 month mark
yeah get aptaisia X. works outstanding. turn off ALL PUMPS so the water is still then you squirt this stuff with the included synrige on the aptasia. that stuff retracts into the rock work really fast so don't get too close to it....like a couple inches.
pelon90tx i bet my lfs 50 bucks i could keep him alive and thriving past 2 mos and he died at 1 month 29 days believe it or not...but the ones in the store all died within a week so i take it as a win...the indonesian source where they come from doesnt seem to be as hardy as the hawaiian copperbands were...if only i had gotten one pre october 2017...
