This looks like something I need. I have autism spectrum disorder and since there are a looot of different choices when it comes to study bibles and Bible reading plans, I really don't know what to go for. I kind of have a problem to make a choice when there are so many options and then when I finally made a choice, I see other possiblities again. This is gonna work for me. Thanks for showing the Bible.
I have one chronological Bible. The Life and Times Historical Reference Bible published by Nelson back in 1997. I loved it for it's "study bible" feel...which was new to me way back then. (Lots of culture articles) I also liked seeing things in chronological order. It WAS frustrating though, to want to flip to Psalms or Proverbs at the end of my daily reading (how I end my quiet time)....and it was dispersed throughout the whole text. That's when I began have two Bibles on my table in the morning. I NEVER had a day by day chronological.... what a great tool for a student!
Please pray for me and my children. I want to give up! But I will continue to trust God! Having faith even in my time of despair. I lost my job because I refused the vaccine. I refused due to my already failing health. Heart disease and lupus. I’m on a ton of medications already. Including blood thinners. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my two autistic children both are non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed because they are special needs. My husband passed away three years ago so I’m all alone. My situation already has me down, and depressed. I have been called horrible names and mocked because of my circumstances. This month me and my boys are facing homelessness if I can’t come up with the rest of the rent. Every month is a struggle. But I have so much faith that God will provide for me and my children in Jesus name. FAITH OVER FEAR! God hears our prayers so please pray for me.
I just ordered this Bible on Amazon and I’m really looking forward to reading the Bible chronologically. I’m extremely excited about that because I have been reading Bibles for many many years and I have never read a Chronological Bible.
Great bible overall. Highly recommended. At time of this writing I’m halfway into it and it’s a blessing. The format as well as the translation are well put together. The chronological way gives the reader a very unique perspective of scripture. Definitely a must for your bible collection. You’ll enjoy it. (On a side note it’s also available in Spanish in the Reina Valera 1960 version; and that one has a more peach orange look instead of the blue along with words of Christ in red).
I’ll be honest. I didn’t mKe it all the way through. But that’s because o kinda switched to a digital plan in the middle. I do love this Bible though and the layout.
Don’t want to sound like a grumpy old guy. But, what would I gain using this Bible? Than if I used a chart of the Bible written in chronological order and a good study Bible. I’m wanting to get a new Bible one day, but money is a bit thin, so I don’t think I could afford several bibles. I’m wanting to get a good study bible. But don’t know which one as of yet. But the CSB sure sounds good to me.
It’s not for everybody that’s for sure. And if you’re only gonna get one. I agree. Get a good study bible. ESV is always my first choice but the CSB is also really nice
ho i forgot to tell you ive read trough the bible 25 times from genesis to revelation i feel bad cause i have been abeliver since 1994 its been 28 years i think i should have read my bibles a bit more
