The reason your old landlord is panicking is the Electricity power problem , you signed the contract for the extra power ( only one customer in the area) and that's your company ...the old landlord cannot now lease the land to the Data Base Company without the extra power ...😅😅😅
If your men are working internally not adding to profit .. you should have put a sum of money aside for this project Or priced contractors per man to do the internal works and have your guys doing their regular jobs
@@tomwhitehouse5121he is doing this for a short period of time. He probably ran the numbers and realized the negative fallout if he does not vacate the premises is greater than his loss of profits over the short period of time.
Love how u speak to ur staff with great respect. They know ur the boss they don't need that inserting at every conversation and ur aware of that and talk to them with the respect they deserve a happy workforce is a productive one
Loving the content as always BUT with the new yard move I'd prefer to see MORE of this rather than construction sites from around the world! Just felt this weeks Ashville was 95% construction sites from Spain rather than actual Ashville content especially the new site development 😅
I'm sure Daniel previously said there will be a standalone video about the yard move and that it could be more than 3 hours long, showing in depth everything involved.
Bad landlord's tend to struggle most of the time. A good landlord helps and works in with the tenant. A happy tenant means a happy life to the landlord.
For the intro, it sounds like getting the new yard sorted and making the old yard into straight-up material bays is the way, so when it is time to close the old yard, it's quick
In Trinidad and Tobago, we build houses in a similar fashion; concrete blocks for exterior walls and hollow clay blocks for internal/partition walls. If it's split level, there'll be a concrete decking, but a roof for a single storey.
I honestly don't know how Daniel manages all this. Of course he has staff to deal with stuff but there is still a monumental amount of stress and mental load on his shoulders
Completely agree - the amount of stress on Daniel is monumental. Hope he does not suffer from burn out. Successful people seldom believe in burn out untill it set in.
Really looking forward to the new Ashville Entertainments epic "New Yard - The Movie" - hopefully the merch store will have "New Yard - The T-Shirt", "New Yard - The Bumper Sticker", but maybe hold off with "New Yard - The Flame Thrower" - if you know, you know...😁
Daniel, in Spain from mid July, and all august there is a ban on all noisy construction work so most sites shut down, especially around seaside areas, where you are in Moraira is a high tourist area so all comes to a standstill for us in the construction industry. Next time you over bring me an Ashville hoody size large please👍 Only live 10mins from where you were😊
The bricks are porotherm clay blocks represent a significant advancement in construction materials, providing a blend of traditional clay benefits with modern engineering. Originating from Austria in the 1960s, Porotherm blocks have revolutionized masonry construction through their lightweight, precision-engineered, and environmentally friendly properties.
Great video and content. Your old landlord wants you in there still, as not enough power for the data center, or it has fallen through. I wish other managers could see the way you talk to your staff. You respect them, they respect you, and now you are the boss, which is why you have a happy workforce. Keep up the good Work Daniel.
Daniel has shown time and time again that running any kind of business is NOT for the faint-hearted. Sad to say he has natural competition, but also enemies within institutions that can make his life miserable, but also well connected people who just don't want to see him succeed for one way or the other. On top of that, there is also the bias and prejudice with him being black. Respect to the big man and his amazing staff.
💯, you're right about the prejudice, I see it I notice other people who have a similar channel don't face the same obstacles he does. Also it's a generationally owned business and Dan has broken the mode and gotten in and ppl are jealous of it
No mention about the refurbishment project - does anyone remember when it started? Seems like it's been going on for a really long time considering the amount of work.
I'm so glad someone else noticed! - they started setting up on site at the refurbishment project in Weekly 101, So 96 weeks (for perspective that'll be 2 years in mid-September!) to get to the plastering stage? and there's still so much to do, carpentry, furniture, fixtures & equipment - the client's project manager must be sleeping or has been paid off - it's quicker to build a new house with multiple basements at this stage.
It'll take 2 months minimum to paint that house to the right quality so we're probably looking at 3 years 🤣 I feel sorry for the lads who'll be doing the painting on this one, they'll have the clients and their team on site complaining until the day it's finished 😂
I can't believe it but you're right, I just went back and checked, how can it take that long to refurb a house? I get that it's a high spec but coming up on 2 years? I also noticed they haven't mentioned the refurbishment project since weekly 192, that's 5 weeks ago where they were still plasterboarding and installing underfloor heating...
I believe the full expression to be: "Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity, cash is king", although now we know how Central Banks around the world are constantly debasing currencies, I'm beginning to wonder...
37:00 I absolutely hate the use of blocks below grade. Quite a large number of them end up with leaks. I'm in North America, and our winters can be rather harsh. Water gets into any cracks that it can find, freezes there, expands, and eventually you end up with water the basement. Blocks below grade should just be completely illegal. Poured in place concrete foundations with coated in tar with a plastic membrane is the way to go.
Been in a similar landlord situation before where there was a dispute about notice and renewing lease. Resulted in bailiffs emptying the whole property into the car park until it was resolved. Daniel could well be at risk of losing his deposit on that yard if he technically contractually has implied he's renewing then defaults on it.
Dan, I went on the the Ashville heights website and Meads did a great job on showcasing the different floorplans and elements of the property. The floorplans are luxurious and looks high quality. Hopefully one day it'll become a vacation home 💯🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
With the rise in motorhomes. The carpark makes financial sense. €30 a night and 40 plots. All you have to provide is waste dumps and that subterranean building was probably destined to be toilets and showers.
Etsy is always great for vehicle badges. Fraction of the cost of one's from manufacturers. They might not be genuine. But you can't tell the difference.
So when the weigh bridge slab get broken up won't it be more pain with the old sleepers in it? Will have to break them from the old concrete to dispose of it.
The website needs some finetuning my man. Padding on the Top bars is ALL over the place and anything but satisfactory. Makes it look cheap and homemade
As grown up viewers living in Spain know, the Ayuntamiento in certain areas do not allow large construction sites to operate in July/August so they do not upset the rich homeowners who come to cooler Spain to escape the Middle East summer. Hilarious B roll from Daniel though....
@@davidcheswick4059 Correct - that is Calpe rock in the background. Not sure what this CSI crap is all about, he is visiting random building sites that are closed for the summer break
Dan, you need a better IT Team. These emails are easy to stop. EXTREMELY easy. I would provide my services but im US based. That is absolutely insane you are still getting these impersonation emails when they are relatively easy to prevent. Tell your IT to block any emails that match your name or anyone IN the company tenant. It's called impersonation checks. They'll know what I mean. You will get zero of these impersonation emails. It will cause your personal email to also flag. But then again you shouldn't be using personal emails for anything anyway.
Moraira!! Next time you're there Daniel, come have a beer with us! Ps.. most building work winds down at the end of July as noisy construction is banned here during August, the holiday season. (Plus it's too warm!) PPS. I know where that site is, its a great location for the views. 👍
Quick question Daniel, how much did that move cost you in petrol? (Figure wise) plant n kit used to transport from one yard to the other!!! Lol i think its gonna be a crazy number, just to get over a fence lol Plus you wouldnt have genarated revenue from burning that petrol because you ain't going to bill yourself lol Just curious
I thought the reson Ashville had to move was due to the landlord givig them notice to quick as they were in the process of selling the land or something??
i have been watching Ashville for the last 5 years and i love every bit of your growth. Do you happen to hire from abroad would love to be part of Ashville growth? I will appreciate the feedback
I would expect with the old yard, they will say that because Ashville didn't LEAVE the yard by the date you were informed to, they had infact agreed to the new 5yr contract by staying on their premesis. By not having any correspondence during the period they were just going by the contract. It could get VERY sticky depending on how good their lawyers are. There is no doubt it will end up costing them, but depends HOW much.
I think Daniel should do a go fund me page be nice to help Daniel with he new yard I seriously wouldn’t mind I’ve had a shocking year so far but ashville video truly help my mindset big up ❤😊
Been in Zante Greece for 2 weeks now, a lot of the buildings out here have one floor and then rebar in place for future levels to be built. Probably the same way that last Spanish house are doing it
